(We are just a notch above our formerly "medically underserved" label here in WV, so specialists weed out patients who can be helped by their GP.) Good luck with it all, ... keep us posted as you heal! Brigite

You'll love him...2 of the nurses at the hospital I went to used him and they wave about him...and he's not bad on the eyes either...lol Well, I had set 2 appointments, the 15th and the 22nd, in hopes that my husband could get off work one of the two. He couldn't last week, and this week isn't looking good either. So, I'm going to ask them if it would be possible if I just schedule surgery when I get the money, then do a consultation the day before surgery. Leyna had said she's doing it that way with Dr. Melmed in TX, and I hadn't thought of it before then, but it would be so much better to only have to make 1 trip. As it stands, since I get motion sickness/migraines so bad, we were going to have to do the trip 2 days each way (driving 4 hours per day, 8 hour drive total). So there's automatically 4 or 5 days my husband would have to miss work without pay, plus the expense of motels. I'm getting ready to have my gallbladder out soon (I see the doc about that tomorrow), as well as some gyno surgery... so there's a good week of work my husband will have to miss without pay which we hadn't anticipated or known would happen until I saw my doctor August 29th. (He uses most of his sick and vacation days throughout the year to drive me to doc appointments.) So, I'm going to call Schnarrs' office about it tomorrow. I hate cancelling and rearranging, but it's hard to get away that far. If they are unhappy about it, I will go if I have to -I don't want to lose him as an option, but if they don't mind -I'm going to just reschedule and do it the way I mentioned. They had said my coming the 22nd instead of the 15th would give them a busy day anyway, so hopefully they won't mind... It would just be so much easier to just have to go through and afford 1 trip. My husband does commercial/restaurant electric and services equipment. They are short handed right now, plus he's the only one who can do electric. When a restaurant or business has a problem, they can't leave until it's done. He's on call 24/7 and works around the clock in the tristate area. It's so hard for him to ever get time off work. Even sick days. Hopefully they'll understand........... keep your fingers crossed for me. I can't wait to do it!!! Brigite
Guest guest
I canceled with them 3 times cause I couldn't decided between him and Dr Kolb...they were real nice...they saw me on Friday and did the surgery tues so I'm sure if you tell them you live so far and ask if they can do it like that they will be able to. I went thru insurance which made it kinda hard but they got it all done ...I had my blood work done here where I lived and had it faxed to them...so I'm sure they can do it for you. Good luck to you and I'll pray for you and your health .
Guest guest
I avoid GNC like the plague. I go to Whole Foods, Wild Oats, Fresh Fields, Vitamin Cottage, any REAL health food store. Guest guest
I have just found often that they try to sell something without a lot of knowledge about the effects and side effects. And some of the supplements they sell are way expensive compared with other places. And I found questionable supplements that they pushed whenever I went in to one of the stores around here. Guest guest
My grandson took MegaFocus from GNC and it helped him alot. I don't alot about their company, but the products I have purchased there seemed to work fine. What's the scoop? Sunny xo > > >Corvalen M...has anyone else take this and does it work ? Guest guest
I read somewhere that large health companies such as GNC and pharmacies that sell health products only sell those that are popular and heavily advertised. They don't care whether or not they use quality ingrediants, just that they sell fast. I think I may have read that in Trudeu's book. Guest guest
Terri, What Island do you live on. My sister is in Kona and they have excellent health food stores on her island. Also, many supplement are far cheaper on the internet than at GNS.
