Guest guest
Since the water changes on its own without someone putting their feet in, how do you know if it is really changing due to toxins? Guest guest
My hubby has gout issues and he likes to eat just about anything. He also works in a factory that uses lots of chemicals. I am sure he is the most toxic. Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: has a chart that tells what each color represents. Her whole family has done it . . . Guest guest
Hi Kenda, I tried the foot bath and had the same question. So I called the company. They said....it is not toxins you are seeing with the water changes. That is the ionization of the minerals in the water....and they are coming out of suspension. You will even see debris form....that is coagulated minerals. So it is not the toxins. They said the way it worked was that it changed the ionic charge on the cells inside your body....giving you energy....and therefore, giving the cells more energy " to aid " the detox process. For those that feel more energized when they use it ...I think that is great. I didn't....so I sent it back. i was disappointed that it wasn't pulling the toxins out and I had assumed it did. > > took photos of the water, then of her husband's feet in the > > ionic foot bath. . . > > > > Results are amazing! . . . Guest guest
- KendaI'm wondering if some of the color comes from the plastic in the bag you're using as a liner.'s pictures are up now.Rogene

Guest guest
He feels it may be from work. He works in a powder coating factory, there are alot of things floating in the air there. He said they work with a lot of aluminum. He is finding that the ion treatments are taking out alot of heavy metals. Here is a link to read a toxin chart. http://www.8candlesonline.com/footbath/color-chart.html Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: . . . what does your hubby think about the stuff that's coming out of his feet?Rogene Sneak preview the all-new .com. Guest guest
Thank you for the clarification, . I thought it was to pull toxins out too. If you can, I'd get the IR sauna. We tried ours yesterday for the first time and I can't believe how much we sweat. A really sick friend of my husband's got one too and has been using it twice daily for a couple of weeks. He said he has never felt better! I'm encouraged that it is really going to help detox me and help with my husband's aches and pains. With all of that sweat pouring out of us, I don't know how it couldn't help. My concern is staying hydrated enough. Kenda > Hi Kenda, > I tried the foot bath and had the same question. Guest guest
You are most welcome Kendra. Yes, my sauna is in my garage and I am hoping to get it up and running this week-end. Don't know about using it so close to my explantation....which was just a week ago. Anyone have any thoughts are my using it so soon after surgery??? > >>> took photos of the water, then of her husband's > > feet in the > >>> ionic foot bath. . . > >>> > >>> Results are amazing! . . . Guest guest
. . . due to the toxins that get released on your skin . . . I'd wait until your incisions are completely closed and healed before getting hot. But it shouldn't hurt to spend some time in it . . . but not to the point where you start sweating. The infrared light should encourage healing. Rogene
Guest guest
Thanks Rogene.... I think you are right about this one. I just took the tape bandages off these incision lines yesterday. They are quite sore in some spots ....Do you think it is too early to start rubbing something on them now? Neopsporin or vitamin E. I think it would make them a little less sensitive feeling. .... > > . . . due to the toxins that get released on your skin . . . Guest guest
I've never used anything on scars - so maybe someone else can answer this one. Guest guest
Once you take the bandages off, you can use Vitamin E or neosporin, or alternate them. No problem. Guest guest
, I have had wonderful success with Vitamin E - poking a hole in a capsule - don't buy the cream, it's not strong enough, and putting it on the scar 3x a day. Make sure it's atleast 1 week post op as the incision should be nicely sealed. I had 36 stitches " down there " after my first baby was born breech, and I thought I wouldn't be able to walk afterwards, the Vit. E fixed up my scar tissue perfectly...I've also used it after several major surgeries - I have a happy face smile above my pubic bone, and it's been used 3x and you can barely see it. Hope this helps! Love & Healing, Sunny > Thanks Rogene.... > I think you are right about this one. I just took the tape bandages > off these incision lines yesterday. Guest guest
Thanks Sunny, I probably could go ahead and use it on the majority of my sutures. The verticle sutures need more healing. So I am using some neosporin...on those. After the first few days of sleeping on the couch where I slept on my back, I then went back to the bed. I found myself on my stomach many times. I think this put too much pressure on those verticle incisions. In hind site, I think my second mistake was the nurse told me to pull the surgical tape off after 7 days. I did this. The tape pulled the healing skin off in one area of those verticle areas. She had given me more tape to take home...so I simply put it back on. Took it off yesterday morning. I did not like what I saw. In hind site I probably should not have put that second tape on it. Those areas look much better today with out the irritation of that surgical tape. I am being very careful with it...and went back to sleeping on the couch where it is easier for me to stay on my back !! I ma 10 days post op and all the other incisions are looking good. Thanks for thinking of me....hope you are doing well. Guest guest
Cleaning the area (after healing is underway) with hydrogen peroxide will help prevent infections. Guest guest
, I am so glad you are explanted on on your way to being a totally new woman!! How many incisions did you have? And where were they? My PS told me I would have two, one under each breast about 4 inches long. Love and many healing prayers, Sunny > > > > > > > > . . . due to the toxins that get released on your > > skin . . . > > > I'd wait until your incisions are completely closed and healed > > before > > > getting hot. > > > > > > > > But it shouldn't hurt to spend some time in it . . . but not > to > > > the point where you start sweating. Guest guest
Hi Sunny, I have more than I care to count!! LoL Since I had a T lift, I have stitches around the areola, vertical incisions from the edge of the areola down to the crease and then one in each crease. The crease is about 4 inches long..... All them look good now...except for the verticle incision on my left breast. I must have done too much and the bottom of it is not healing as well as I would like ( at the base of the vertical where it meets the crease incision). Must have pulled it open a bit somehow. Going for my next post op appointment tomorrow. I can't wait for you to get yours out Sunny! Hugs, > > > > > > > > > > . . . due to the toxins that get released on your > > > skin . . . > > > > I'd wait until your incisions are completely closed and healed > > > before > > > > getting hot. > > > > > > > > > > But it shouldn't hurt to spend some time in it . . . but not > > to > > > > the point where you start sweating. Guest guest
, Thanks for sharing...I'm getting reconstruction 6 months after surgery. It was recommended and I agreed, because my body heals fairly well and I take skin-tightening capsules after surgery...Herbalife uses them to tighten one's skin after weight loss so they don't have to have surgery. One man lost 400 lbs. is now 220 lbs. and didn't need nipping and tucking! I don't expect to have beautiful breasts, after all, I'm 58 yrs. old, have had two children, and frankly I am more concerned about how beautiful I am on the inside. That I am working on steadily. It disgusts me how young girls and women in general are made to feel inadequate. Even the men are being affected now, greater than ever. Love to you, Sunny > > > > > > > > > > > > . . . due to the toxins that get released on your > > > > skin . . . > > > > > I'd wait until your incisions are completely closed and > healed > > > > before > > > > > getting hot. > > > > > > > > > > > > But it shouldn't hurt to spend some time in it . . . but > not > > > to > > > > > the point where you start sweating. Guest guest
Sunny, A lot of plastic surgeons do recommend waiting. Often they feel they can do a better lift. I know my doctor recommended that to another lady but he did not even go there with me. Don't really know why. Those skin tightening capsules sound interesting. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > . . . due to the toxins that get released on your > > > > > skin . . . > > > > > > I'd wait until your incisions are completely closed and > > healed > > > > > before > > > > > > getting hot. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > But it shouldn't hurt to spend some time in it . . . but > > not > > > > to > > > > > > the point where you start sweating. Guest guest
, thanks for the validation. I'm just going with God's direction and info from you ladies. It's all new to me...as with all of us, I suppose. I'm a bit nervous to go under as I'm chronically congested, especially the right lung. I've been fearful of them cancelling surgery because I've got a " cold " . I've had a " cold " for atleast 2 years...that's when my congestion became chronic. Anyway, I will keep the faith, and before I know it I'll be explanted! I am so grateful. It's been a long 20 yrs. I regretted the operation soon after I had it. Love & Healing Prayers, Sunny p.s. if you want more info on Herbalife Products, go to the website of find a representative in your area...usually in the Yellow Pages under Health Products, or Natural Foods. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > . . . due to the toxins that get released on > your > > > > > > skin . . . > > > > > > > I'd wait until your incisions are completely closed and > > > healed > > > > > > before > > > > > > > getting hot. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > But it shouldn't hurt to spend some time in it . . . > but > > > not > > > > > to > > > > > > > the point where you start sweating.
