Guest guest
Hey tonight I switched to a pullover sports bra cause its alittle bigger than the open down the front one I had on do you think pulling it over my head was ok ? Guest guest
Guess I better be careful taking it off ...cause its on now...plus when I'm laying down in bed, I guess I forget and I raise my arms over my head with no problem. You know I was laying there in bed and I was thinking....I'm glad my implants are gone and I don't have to worry about it anymore ...but then back in my head it makes me so mad....that I've been thru all this...it really sucks. I just pray my health comes back ....right now my head ,neck and back still have the symptoms they did that made me remove these things......but I know they would have caused more problems down the road....but I still hope removing them helps in time me get my health back. Does that make sense ? I think about it a lot when I'm trying to go to sleep. Its been a rough road. And going back to work next week won't be easy trying to hide it till I Fluff out some. Good night all
Guest guest
I would be careful with that, . I too preferred the over-the-head bra, but did not try it for a couple weeks. > > Hey tonight I switched to a pullover sports bra cause its alittle bigger > than the open down the front one I had on do you think pulling it over my head > was ok ? Guest guest
Hi , I pray that your health comes back, too. I know without a doubt that I got sick because of the implants, and I don't know if I'll ever be my old self again health-wise, but like you I'm thankful that I don't have them to worry about anymore. Take care of yourself. I remember I went to Boston two months after my explant, and it was frustrating because I couldn't keep up with my sister, and at night I just wanted to lay in bed. That was not normally me. I've got alot more energy now, thankfully. Guest guest
Hi , Hope you're doing well! I don't have any bra suggestions, just wanted to say hello. Sis --- In , " Heer " <idagirl@...> wrote: > > Hey girls, > > I am looking for a bra that has convertible straps and/or a strapless bra that adds a size, either a water, gel or air bra or one that has a lot of padding, but that has the convertible straps. I want to be able to wear it with a strapless dress or tank style tops. I need to start thinking about clothes for my vacation and I know that you need to dress up for dinner on the cruise and also for dancing, I want to be able to wear some padding too, and most really good padded bras don't have the convertible straps. I do have a gel one that has the straps for a t-back, but not a halter dress and all the dresses I am seeing that I like are strapless or tank style or thin straps. I guess the only thing I liked about implants was the way clothes fit. Guest guest
Interesting the talk about bras. In 1994 after explantation, I wore tank type underwear tops! 'Course I'm a small B (how about beautiful B?)! Care was I suppose different then, and all doctors have their own ideas...time marches on! Even after 25 years of implants I had no uplift surgery or anything, just the total removal of capsules containing implants. I'm more than satisfied with my results. I wish the same for those of you now going through the surgery and healing. A tincture of time is what it takes! Don't worry right away about how things will be (easy for me to say now), just let healing and time do their work. Regards,
Guest guest
Thanks Sis...when do I start detoxing and how ?
Guest guest
, Unfortunately you're asking the wrong person. I haven't done a great job at detoxing because my body is quite sensitive to everything, and therefore I really haven't detoxed. It's obvious I need to, because with the change of seasons my symptoms are acting up. Perhaps someone can advise and get both of us started. I'm purchasing a Far Infrared Sauna, because that doesn't involve ingesting anything, and my body reacts from things I ingest. Guest guest
Well, I have stopped sugar! Rogene assures me this is a form of detoxing. For me, it most certainly was!!! > > > > Thanks Sis...when do I start detoxing and how ? > > >
Guest guest
Yeah that would be great if someone would like to get us started. Where are you getting the sauna ?
Guest guest
There is a place in Austin called I believe Vanity Fair, and it is a bra specialty shop, and they measure you and fit you for bras. Most people wear the wrong size anyway. But at places like that there are many kinds you can check out, and they are very helpful. Hugs DedeSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
Hi , I wear Maidenform "One Fabulous Fit" bras-- they have really feminine demi-cup styles and are lightly padded, very comfortable and supportive without underwires. They come in a few different styles-- lots of colors, some are front-closing, some are smooth and others have fetching lace, some are lower cut, and there's a t-strap version. The padding is light and natural-looking, not stiff and fake like a lot of padded bras. Truthfully, they are the only bras I wear after searching for many months. I buy them by the bushel, as I am always afraid they'll discontinue them. Kohl's online has some for 9.00. Bindi
Guest guest
I think they have bra fitting specialists at 's Secret . . . Some top of the line department stores also have fitters. Try different manufacturer's . . . there's a big difference in sizing. It may be awhile before you'll feel comfortable in an underwire bra, if ever. I wouldn't spend big bucks on bras until your healing is further along though. I like soft bras . . . but sports bras are just a bit too soft! Guest guest
Thanks to everyone with advice on finding a comfortable bra. Now that I don't have those implants... I just want to be comfortable. I'm going to do some shopping after I'm sure my new/old breasts are " stabilized " . Thanks again. > > There is a place in Austin called I believe Vanity Fair, and it is a bra > specialty shop, and they measure you and fit you for bras. Most people wear > the wrong size anyway. Guest guest
Hi , Since explant 2 years ago, I've been buying my bras at The Gap. The one I like best is the wireless push-up bra. In my case, it doesn't really push anything up but it is lightly padded and looks very natural. Guest guest
Sis, I had not even thought of the Gap. Great idea. I'm going to look there too. Thanks! > > > > OK...strange subject. > > > > I went to try on bras today to see if I could find something just > > comfortable besides the sports bra. > > > > I discovered 3 things... > > I'm not ready to leave my compfy sports bras yet. > > I don't think I want to wear a bra with an underwire anymore > > I'm now between a B & C cup so I'm going to have to do some work to > > find the perfect fit. > > > > My question to the group is: > > > > Where is a great place to go to find comfortable bras that fit??? > > Is there a place online?
