I thought it was better to find a surgeon who performed more explants than implants. I've heard very little about him. But what I have heard seems okay. I think he invented the implant through the belly button surgery thing. I'm not sure. His name is Dr. R. Burden Anyways. I don't want to make another mistake. But time is passing me by and my body is suffering. Not to mention my sanity. Guest guest
Liz, Where in FL are you? I've been researching FL docs and have come up with a fair amount of information. I am actually choosing Dr. Melmed in Texas because I have some muscle wall issues and I believe he will do a good job with repairing that. And I can afford him. Well, my loan can afford him, anyway. You can email me privately. Of if you all want to hear it, I can give a rundown of what happened with all the FL people I contacted. Guest guest
Liz . . . If you think there's a chance that he will do your surgery right, talk to him . . . You'll know a lot more after you do. . . Faced with the prospect of not being able to get your implants out for an extended time, stressing over traveling and expense, I'd exhaust all possiblities at home first. Removing breast implants isn't a terribly difficult surgery . . . The important thing is that the doctor respects you enough to do what you ask and to do the best job possible. If you get any negative feelings about any doctor, move on.
