This Joint Committee will review and discuss peer-reviewed scientific literature on dental amalgam and its potential mercury toxicity, specifically as it relates to neurotoxic effects. Today, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) made the following documents related to this Joint Advisory Committee Meeting available for public review - Final Agenda; Briefing Information; Nature and Basis Statements of Conflict(s) of Interest; Final Questions; and Final Roster. These documents are available at http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfAdvisory/details.cfm?mtg=668 The Agency has opened a public docket for members of the public who are unable to attend the FDA Joint Advisory Committee meeting or for speakers whose remarks might exceed the allotted time.
