Guest guest
Hello Ladies, Just want to update you on a couple of items. I went to see the Neurologist that my regular doctor referred me to on Monday. It was WONDERFUL and just like Dr. (the Neurologist in Atlanta) he believes that yes I could have silicone toxicity and yes it could be what is making my eeg turn up abnormal. So we are continuing with the MRI on my brain soon. He said I definitely am having some cognitive difficulties. I just thought it was brain fog but apparently more than that. He also said he would send the report to Dr. for the Dow Corning Settlement. So if you ever need to refer someone to a Neurologist here in sdale his name is Dr. Drake Duane. If you do a search on his name it shows up all over the internet as he has written several books and papers and traveled everywhere. Yesterday I went to a new Rheumatologist. He too said that he didn't think that implants had anything to do with fibromyalgia. But he was nice about it and didn't have a condescending attitude like the other one did. He said he would type a report for Dr. . But yet he did believe that scar tissue and having a breast infection could cause my shoulder to freeze. He wants to do an MRI on my shoulder before I start any PT. He also suggested gentle yoga and wants to help my with my fibro. So I'm trying to rest more and feel better. I know I'm better than before my explant I just wish it would come faster. Penni Do It Afraid --Joyce Meyer
Guest guest
Penni, This is good news someone is finally admitting the truth about the implants to you. I am glad you will be getting help with the frozen shoulder. If the doctors question you give them my phone number I have a frozen shoulder too. It was from infection and implants. Mine is better on it's own, but I do need to find help for it real soon. I just dread the mess I am going to run into when doctors argue with me. I may slap me a doctor you never know. For now I don't feel like I could slap very hard so better wait til I get more strength so it will be worth the hit. LOL Penni good luck to you and that arm. Guest guest
Wonderful news Penni! . . . If these doctors could just realize how much it means to LISTEN and try to understand what's going on, rather than come up with some dumb statements, maybe they wouldn't treat women so badly! Please keep us posted on how it goes - within the bounds of what you can do with a settlement pending. Understand? Guest guest
Rogene, Thanks. Yes I understand. I hesitate calling it a settlement. More like a tip. Nothing can replace good health. Guest guest
Interesting how he doesn't think there is a link between fms and implants. It seems to be the most common illness linked with breast implants. More of the same old denial. It doesn't matter much anyway. Autoimmune illnesses aren't helped by standard rheumatology therapy anyway. Did you ever look into the book I recommended by Bonnie Prudden? In my opinion it works better than the options you were given. I have known many people who swear by it after I showed them how it works.
