Where and how do I find info on this?

My surgery is next Friday. I woke up yesterday with really cruddy tooth

pain. Went to dentist, she said I may need a root canal if she gets in

there past my old mercury fillings and sees that I need it. Something

in the back of my mind said, " WAIT WAIT Research it first. " My dentist

is very cool and didn't want to remove the filling and refill in case I

needed a root canal. She didn't want to do it too close to surgery.

(An aside -- I told her what surgery I was having and one of her

co-workers is having the same problems and is having her salines out in

August. I gave my number to her so she could call. I want to make sure

she is getting them out safely.)

Who has root canal problems, and what can you do instead of a root

canal? If the answer is " pull the tooth " I'm all for it -- the tooth

hurts and looks toxic and grey and nasty with mercury discoloring it.

It's not abcessed. But replacing a missing tooth now requires

implants, right?

Also, the dentist gave me antibiotics. She said if things are infected

up in there, it would help. I know antibiotics could mess up my

yeast/bacteria balance, but is there any other reason to not take them?

By this time next week, I will begin detoxing. I have a desire to go

hard-core. I don't care if I herx with my drains still in! I want to

start getting all the junk out.

Thanks,

Dawn
