Guest guest
Lynn, Our ladies have been very successful with "The Maker's Diet" = check Amazon.com Do you know if your capsules were removed when you were explanted? However a few weeks ago I started again with the bad neck pain, severe brain fog and general joint and muscle pain. I seem to still be really sensitive to meds and herbal supplements as well and end up stopping anything I start. I'm feeling really confused on where to go at this point. I'm a single mom and I have to work but find it really hard at times because I just can't focus. Has anyone had good results with any diet or supplements for the brain fog/neck pain? I have been getting different advice from everyone. I've consulted with a few alternative doctors and my regular dr's and everyone has a different opinion being told to follow a hypogycemic diet, no salicylate diet, gluten free, a fibromyalsia protocol, a vegetarian diet a no carb diet and must include animal protein ect.. I'm just not sure who to believe and don't know what to try first. Everyone has good points to why there protocol makes sense and this brain fog makes it so much harder to decide what to do. I would really appreciate any info. Thanks so much,Lynn
Guest guest
Hi Rogene, Yes they were removed. I had the surgery done by Dr. Feng so I know it was done the correct way. I do know of the Maker's Diet I will look into that. Thank you. Lynn > After my explant I noticed great improvement in things like hair > loss and a decrease in viral infections. Guest guest
Lynn, I am certainly no expert but maybe fish oil for the brain fog and like Rogene says Garlic might help with the pain and joint stuff, I actually tried some the other nite and I was in alot less pain that whole day and next day it was amazing, I mean I am in constant terrible pain for ten years. I don't know if that was what it was from or not but I am willing to try it again and let you know. Guest guest
Lynn, With your capsules removed, you have an excellent chance of getting much better once you figure out what your body needs to heal Rogeneunicorn0692 <unicorn0692@...> wrote: Hi Rogene,Yes they were removed. Guest guest
Lynn, I'm extremely sensitive to supplements and herbs, too, so I just try to avoid processed sugar and I try to eat healthy, and I also am able to take a probiotic without any side effects. Actually when I started taking the probiotic I felt much better, the one I take is called Culturelle and it's available in Rite Aid, The Vitamin Shoppe, CVS, Eckerd, probably other places as well - one box lasts a month and it costs about $20 a box. Also, I have no side effects when I take digestive enzymes, but I have to be careful not to take them every single day because they can be constipating. I use Stevia to sweeten my coffee, and I don't have any side effects from herbal tea. I also drink Lifeway Kefir Smoothies, which are like yogurt, and I have no problem with them either. Guest guest
Hey Sis, How are you doing. I'm sorry we have not had the time to get together. I just started using Kefir as well. I think I may try the makers diet. It seems pretty sound and obviously I need to make some changes since I'm having a hard time again. Have you tried Co- enzyme Q-10 before? It seems to keep coming up as a good thing to try. Lynn > > > > After my explant I noticed great improvement in things like hair > > loss and a decrease in viral infections. Guest guest
Lynn, My brain fog was the worst symptom, and I have never really fully figured out what is causing it. I know that some women have the brain fog with implants, but upon explant it disappears immediately. Mine did not. It didn't really go away until about 3-4 years after explant, and then it would come back on occasion. I have actually been battling it this week, for some reason. I can say with a little degree of confidence that it is associated with my monthly cycle, (which is now my "few times a year cycle"), but I still don't know what will make it go away. It just comes and goes at will. I wish we did have answers. It was my most frustrating experience with implants. Patty Explanted in July and looking for some additional input After my explant I noticed great improvement in things like hair loss and a decrease in viral infections. However a few weeks ago I started again with the bad neck pain, severe brain fog and general joint and muscle pain. I seem to still be really sensitive to meds and herbal supplements as well and end up stopping anything I start. I'm feeling really confused on where to go at this point.
