Guest guest
, what wonderful news! It's always great to hear a medical professional is supportive, especially in the family Thanks for the encouraging words...I can't wait to be 1 yr. explanted!! My surgery is coming up this month on the 26th. YAY!!!! Have an awesome and God-filled day! Sunny > > Good Morning Ladies!! > > I have to tell you ladies, I did get a positive comment this past weekend. My husband's brother and his fiance came up from Indianapolis to visit us and other family members. His fiance is a doctor doing her residency in Indianapolis. I have not seen her in a year, since before I knew the cause of my illness. We have kept in touch, and had many chances to share my health struggles. We had dinner with them and my in-laws on Saturday. Well, my soon to be sister in law, said I looked 100% better then I did a year ago. I do have my physical stuggles yet, but she said looking at me, I don't look like I am dying anymore. This is from a doctor. I had a chance to have breakfast with her the following day. This is when I gave her my story since explant. We had time to discuss alternative therapies and she is supportive of them and hopes to take some classes to gain more knowledge of them. She is a wonderful person, she immigrated from Romania when she was young and > has put herself through medical school. She stated that in Romania, they used alternative therapies before they went to medical professionals. She told me, I have helped her keep her eyes open for immune reactions to forgien objects. > > I guess sometimes it takes someone who hasnt seen us in a while to see our improvements. > > > > > --------------------------------- > Want to be your own boss? Guest guest
, sorry about the mix up...I must have had someone else's time of explant in mind. With this brain fog, I'm surprised I can still talk to people!! Some days are quite hilarious. I gotta laugh to keep up the positive attitude. Guest guest
, This is wonderful news! . . . Sometimes it takes someone else to notice how much better we look to see it ourselves. It's especially nice when it's a medical professional who is willing to listen! You're going to get there . . . I have no doubt at all! . . . Has your foot bath arrived yet? We must have made a run on foot baths on ebay . . . there were a bunch recently, but only one or two the last time I looked. Rogene Lamse <wannabe_proverbs31@...> wrote: Good Morning Ladies!! Guest guest
I have been getting the same reaction from people. I love when people tell me I look healthy lately - that means more to me than if they were to tell me I looked beautiful! I got so excited recently when my husband told me I looked .... refreshing!! Boy is that a change from the last six years when he kept telling me that I lost my " countenance " . I would so much rather look refreshing and healthy than I would have nice breasts!! I'm so happy for you that your new found health is showing! Cherie > Good Morning Ladies!! > > I have to tell you ladies, I did get a positive comment this past weekend. Guest guest
, That's the same reaction I'm getting from people - I may feel pretty crummy but I'm looking better, and I notice that last summer I looked gray, this summer my color is good. Your struggles are not all in vain, you've helped open alot of people's eyes, including your future sister-in-law.
