Guest guest
Hello everyone, The wind is blowing fiercely today. Obviously, it is bringing in a weather change. The barometric pressure is dropping. The lovely warm weather we had for two days is changing to cold, yet again. Times like this, when I know my pain is going to increase are terrifying. I used to cry, and cry, when the wind blew in weather changes that increases my pain. Now, that I have better medications, and a doctor who works with me, the pain isn't as bad. Nevertheless, it is still horrible to hear that wind blowing. I keep reminding myself, that my pain is controlled so much better now. There are prn medications I can take, and Klonopin for anxiety. Not to mention how much better Lyrica works, than Neurontin. Weather changes will always come and go. It's a simple fact. I often wonder how I ever survived the years, when there wasn't a doctor who would work with me. These times, it's just a matter of waiting. I try to read, watch movies, or sleep to pass the time. Unfortunately, even when the change is bringing good weather, my pain increases too. It's all about transitions. Lyndi, and someone else mentioned how pain has aged their appearance. I hear you, loud and clear. Sometimes, I look in the mirror, and wonder if that's really me.
