This article by Melmed is not the one I was talking about, though I am glad you found it. This one is a number of years old. By the time I went to Melmed a year ago, he had performed over a thousand explants.

The one I was talking about was a post he made on Explantation.com, specifically on the subject of capsule removal. He made it a while back (about 1 1/2 years ago) in response to a flurry of posts about whether he removes them or not. I was wondering the same thing-- does he or doesn't he?-- and after reading his post was convinced he was kosher. I'll try and find it.
