Guest guest
dusty have you tried trigger point injections?? not sure if everyone here agrees with them but they do WONDERS for me....... get them right in the joints/muscles where the fibro pain is bad..... lasts me for months... pain doc has to do it.... something to think about if you are not already doing it - the stress w/ your son will cause you to tense up which is not helping - wish I could help there..... I had mine done Tues.... wouldn't believe how much better I feel - at least for now... for everyone The headache hell I have been going thru especially since my seizure episodes????? told the doc about it Tues...... tried a new trigger point as well - gonna sound freaky..... stuck a needle at the base of my skull up my head and injected some type on anti inflamm into my head at the muscles from my neck..... it has been amazing..... really.... headaches have significantly decreased since then..... I was at the end of my rope - all day every day - debilitating headaches... wake up with up - go to bed with it... hubby was taking off several days a week...... it has been soooo much better since that injection Tues it is amazing... says I will have to do it once a month - I don't care. I will be there if it works I told him!!! very excited about this. Not pleasant mind you but worth every second of the relief...... love shari

Guest guest
Wonderful Shari . . . I'm thrilled you've found a way to get relief! . . . Maybe this will put an end to the seizures too . . . Did you bring up the PTC subject?Didn't you say you'd been having severe headaches leading up to the seizures?Rogenehalvey70@... wrote: dusty have you tried trigger point injections?? not sure if everyone here agrees with them but they do WONDERS for me....... get them right in the joints/muscles where the fibro pain is bad..... lasts me for months... pain doc has to do it.... something to think about if you are not already doing it - the stress w/ your son will cause you to tense up which is not helping - wish I could help there..... Guest guest
thanks Patty i really have... every time i start to think all is getting better get knocked down again.... This headache thing has been the worse.....wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy.... the fact that they can even look at my head prints... MRI, CT and see nothing blows my mind due to the pain... I am glad they do not, but with what I was feeling I figured they would find a golf ball in there! Head is starting to come back but that as over two weeks of relief from that weird thing he did w/ that head injection.... sounds scary but I can not wait for the next one.... I have not taken a 1/3 of the pills he normally gives me... i would take the pain of the shot over taking all these pills everyday!!!!.... now - to get it to last a whole month...... we will work on that next appt on the 10th. I hate taking all this ,medications anyways plus the $$$ i would save,,, especially now that /I have added the epilepsy meds... they are not cheap - and I have insurance!! i feel so sorry for those who do not. If leaves me I am toast..... One of the anti-seizure meds, topomax, my co-pay is $50... just for the heck of it I said - wow - what would it cost if I had to pay cash? it was over $200.... that is sad... Lord knows if I did not already have insurance I couldn't get it now... anyways thanks again patty!! love shari!!
