,

AS ALWAYS -thanks for the info!!! I will definitely let everyone know what they say.

As for the lift, I want the FULL T-Lift (aka Anchor Lift -I think). I'm sure I'll need it, because I have sooo much skin and sagging. Thanks for warning about the scarring -I expect that, actually. My skin is so prone to keloid scars and horrible scarring from any little nick, but I'm willing to accept that trade for a better outcome in shape. I've enjoyed having a large chest so long that I'm SO terrified that all the reasons I did this will come crashing back down on me ---but I KNOW it HAS to be done and it WILL be worth it health wise. (So I'm not backing out!!!)

How are things going??? I read your posts about starting to treat your scars. Keep updating everyone! It's so reassuring to know others are doing this and are happy with the outcomes, both from the newly explanters like yourself and also the long term explanters who are feeling better. It motivates me!

Happy Healing!!!

Brigite,Let me know what they say. Also, be sure to get exactly what you want done in writing on the surgical request..i.e. patient requests enbloc procdure, drains...etc. He does not routinely do the testing that Kolb does...but he is a good surgeon. He will take the test samples and they will send them to the affiliated hospital if you want ...but that is extra costs. At the end of the day...I haven't done anything about the samples he took. Once they were out...it just was not that important to me. If you have not started to research the types of lifts....you may want to. He will do any type you want...but will not guarantee he can get the implant out enbloc thru the areola..and feels doing it this way creates more internal breast tissue damage...especially if the implant is large. That said...there is also more cutting with a t-lift...so only you can weigh the pros and cons. I went with the T lift. It has only been 8 days post. While all the other suture lines look good....the verticle ones are not healing quite as fast as the others...due to the downward pressure of the weight of the breast and some swelling...etc. I bought an ace bandage to help give it more support. Just some ideas and things to think about..I still may send my implants off.Best of Luck, sandra
