Guest guest
I buy local eggs whenever I can. They are the best of all the eggs I have been able to buy. I have never inquired as to the conditions, but I have noticed some varying quality from different suppliers. I feel very lucky to have access to this resource. Generally I prefer to go with organic, but that is not my only consideration with eggs. The content of the diet definitely matters! I have seen the conditions for a couple suppliers, and while both were in happy homes, one home had very little grass and stuff available, and the yolks were less colorful and less flavorful. and, yes, chickens are supposed to eat bugs, too. :-) Sandi lunarose@...
