Guest guest
A short note about me. My name is Sherrie and I had decompression surgery April 15,1999. Spent 5 1/2 days in the hospital. Came home feeling pretty good considering I just had brain surgery. Felt good for about 2 months, no aches and pains to speak of. Before surgery had all the symptoms( weakness in arms and legs, headaches, earaches, fatigue, imbalance and clumsiness, neck pressure, etc.) So now I am 7 months post-op and some of my symptoms have come back. I had disk surgery in 1996 and had bone replacement and have since found out from MRI and mylogram done 3 months after surgery that a bone spur is growing and pressing on my spine but neurosurgeon didn't feel it was bad enough for surgery. In the mean time I have gone through Pain Management(which didn't help) and am now on 4 different medicines from the neurologist. Getting pretty fed up. No matter what medicine I am put on it doesn't get rid of the headaches. And 2 of the medicines I take at bedtime just so I can get some sleep, otherwise I toss and turn all night. Thought I'd log back on and see what kind of feedback I can get. Thanks, Sherrie garner@... Attachment: vcard [not shown]
