Guest guest
Well tomorrow will be 2 weeks since my explant and T lift ...the bruising has almost gone away and I'm beginning to fluff as you call it, I say take some shape LOL...my scars are still pretty YUCK......I went back to work today....the worse thing is still my neck and upper back....when will this go away ? I know it vary's for people but GOD...it's awful...I was wondering if laying on the operating table would have made it act up or if pulling on my muscles to get the implants out again, made me tense ???? All I know is I don't want to live the rest of my life with this pain.

Guest guest
Dear , I'm sure much of what you are experiencing is post operative pain, and will gradually fade. There are things that can be done to help; perhaps your doctor will refer you for some physical therapy on your upper body. Then, when you're feeling better, getting those muscles stronger will help with muscle pain and spasms. I must add that some people, and I'm one of them, have continued to have chest pain. In my case it's part of the auto-immune disease I have from having silicone implants in my body for 25 years! I have RA/SLE overlap. That's rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosis. I have been quite ill since explant in 1994, but I am very slowly getting better with treatment. Good luck to you. And take good care of yourself. Guest guest
I know, the pain is difficult. I think the upper body pain takes a while to resolve, but my guess is you will see improvement soon. Two weeks is not very long-- your body is still healing. In the meantime maybe you can get some massage? Or ask your sweetheart to do some on you-- it will help! Bindi Tomorrow will be 2 weeks. Guest guest
, That is very good advice about the physical therapy, and I've been getting physical therapy on my upper body for the neck problems I've experienced since getting implants. It has helped alot. Sis --- In , Crocker <dwcrn@...> wrote: > > Dear , > I'm sure much of what you are experiencing is post operative pain, and > will gradually fade. Guest guest
I can't remember the exact times that my neck and back and head pain all cleared up, but I can tell you it took some time! At least 18 months for me. I hope your healing time takes less than mine did. Look into getting some massages...I think that would be the perfect excuse to pamper yourself with one regularly.
