Guest guest
hey Brig! oh that IS funny, poor girl! Well, since I have been a vegetarian for 20 plus years, I confess that booking the surgery around Thanksgiving was hardly heartbreaking. I though 'phew, off the hook this year' - no wondering what to eat, what to bring, how to answer all the annoying questions. It will be fabulous to be just recooping on the couch and watching beloved holiday movies! > > , > > Yay! I'm so happy for you! Guest guest
You are SO right! it's not the same as 'finding' those gems on TV, isn't that funny! I have my favorites too, don't we all - and you know, I love Christmas commercials too! Guest guest
, Are you going to have a wrap on right after surgery? I used my ace bandage wrap the first two weeks. Dr. Feng told me to keep this tight at first to allow the muscle to re attach it'self to the ribs. (where the implants used to be). Then I used the the tight uni boob kind, that way size wasn't a factor. They usually go by 34, 36, 38 etc. I wore this for about another month. I actually liked these better because I felt more secure with the pressure. They did make me look real flat, but I was too sick to care. Now, that I have fluffed out, I have some shape in them. I still prefer them to regular bras. During the first month after surgery, I went to 's secret to get measured. I sill had my tapes on and used it as an opportunity to share my story. It was a real eye opener for the girl with the measuring tape. Congratulations on setting the date. THIS suggestion I will not heed and will follow what most of you have done and use a sports bra.I assume this is, of course, after the drains have been removed, so it could be a few days? And wear it day and night for...10 days at least? What size to get? Would I get the size I was prior to augmentation? 34A. I hear some of you ended up bigger, so there is no danger is smushing them should I wind up a B (yah right;) instead of an A? :)I have a sports bra that is one of those smushy uni boob kind, but I have seen the Champion ones mentioned here, that actually looks like a regular bra.shhhhh.....don't tell the ps on me.I am slated for the day before Thanksgiving. VERY appropriate I think!! oh, I can't wait!!!! I keep dreaming about it, and I am always sooo happy in the dream, having them out. All-new - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster. Guest guest
Thanks for answering, . You know I don't know if I will have a wrap after surgery. I have a follow up appointment in 4 wks, so I will find out then. So, I take it your implants were under the muscle? I like the idea of the pressure too. Guest guest
Yes, my implants were under the muscle. Dr. Feng had to do alot of scraping to get all the scar tissue out from inbetween the ribs and muscles. There was a lot of pain in the rib areas for some time. In fact, it still hurts there if I push on them. And my surgery was over 7 months ago. Emeraldkittee <emeraldkittee@...> wrote: Thanks for answering, . Guest guest
Congrats on going in for your surgery, I have my residual capsuectomey sceduled this wednesday. I am going to look like a mummy when I am done, well it is getting close to Halloween, she is doing complete capsulectemy on my left, no drain just tightly bandaged, she said for fluid buid up. she doesn't want to put another foreign object like the drain in with the high chance of infection in my case. she said if we get to much fluid build up she can go in sterile with the biopsy needle and drain if it is needed, I guess all surgeons have their way of doing these procedures, I do trust her she is very caring and takes her time, on her card it says, " a great surgeon should have the eyes of an eagle, heart of a lion, hands of a woman... " I love that, anyway hope everyone else is doing ok, I probably wont be here for a few days anyway, love and aloha Terri P > > Well, I have decided to go ahead and go with one of the local ps I > met.... you may recall she is fond of suggesting one go braless > after explant.
