Guest guest
I was really leaning toward having my explantation by Dr. Feng, but Dr. Kolb would be 3 hours closer to where I live. Does anyone have any advice as to which is better or any input to help me decide?? I know that Dr. Feng's cost is about $6K for an explantation only - does anyone know how much Dr. Kolb charges?? Not that money is the only factor but it could help sway me! Also, I was reading someone's post and they mentioned that they had heart palpitations. I was diagnosed with Sick Sinus Syndrome in March of this year and had to have a pacemaker. I never thought it could be related to my implants! Has anyone ever heard of anyone else with a pacemaker?? I'm only 34. Tks!
Guest guest
Mellisa, I used Dr. Kolb and she is wonderful. If you e-mail her she will give you her cost. Donna
Guest guest
Hi , Did you get any input on your request for info? I wanted to mention that my step daughter got implants, (against her father and my wishes), and she also suffered from some mysterious heart related problems. I wasn't privvy to much of the conversation, but from what my husband told me, she ended up in the hospital with numbness and tingling in her extremities, and then they tried to suggest that she had some kind of congenital heart defect which might require a stent at some point. This was all after the implants, when prior to implantation, there was no indication EVER that she had any heart issues. At this point, she hasn't had any further issues that I know of. She gave birth to a baby in early July, and I can only sit here and fear for the gavel to fall on her if the implants doom her health to the extent that we have experienced it. Hopefully she will never have to have a pacemaker. Perhaps she will be lucky and never experience what we have, (and I pray that her child never suffers anything as a result of the exposure), but I know that many women get sick after having a baby with implants too. You are so young to have a pacemaker! Did you decide on an explanting surgeon yet? Wtih Kolb out of commission for awhile, you may have to go ahead with Feng anyway!
