Guest guest
Just got back from my annual visit. Feel I've been beaten by a hammer in all my joints. WHY do they continue to squeeze our joints when we tell them we are having a flare and are in intense pain? I busted out in tears. Then he says I may need something for depression. It is only being in constant pain that makes me depressed! I've had many doctors that should have been reported, for how rude and disgustingly they treated me, which they never do when I bring someone with me. And when they CAN'T reduce you to tears so they can write you off with antidepressants, they accuse of you making up your symptoms to get drugs. I can only use topical things to make pain more bearable, since I have multiple sensitivities to drugs and chemicals. Ugh. Just wanted to vent. Looking forward to joining the conversations in a more useful way in the near future. I had my thyroid removed a couple months ago, and the rheumatologist said the intense pain and headaches are probably from not being at a proper thyroid functioning level. So, I'm seeing my endo this afternoon. Good thing both appointments were on the same day, during this flare-up period, or they might not have believed how bad things have been. Also started gluten free diet a couple months ago, finding out wheat gluten is in make up and beauty items, and I have to research that, since I've been breaking out so badly. Was told I should also give up dairy foods and that should help. Sheesh. Wake me when it's over!
Guest guest
Sorry you had such a bad appt- I dont know why doctors insist on touching us in our sore areas - My husband always says I have to remember to tell them it hurts. I am also sensitive to drugs. Doctors can be knuckle heads and all I can tell you is to keep trying different doctors if you are able. Also venting here is the place to do it! I went to a doctor yesterday who asked if I was in the medical profession- I said no but I feel I should be since I seem to know more than some doctors! You should of seen his face. I stayed away from diary for years and it did help now I can have a bit with no pain and no tummy issues. I also stay away from gluten and my tummy is so much better. I use Arnica gel and Arnica oil. I have been doing the dry brushing. It is so frustrated to always have them go to anti depressive drugs- Anyway we look forward to hearing from you Ciao- Ange ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Thu, February 2, 2012 12:09:28 PM Subject: Annual Rheumatologist check up Just got back from my annual visit.
