Any comments? Hi Mike Yikes - 24 oz? Are you sure you want to try that? I totally respect your personal choice and will support you if you go through with it - but that's a LOT of oil. I would look at other factors before trying that. I'm not so sure that body weight is a factor (although I'm not an expert - so take this as just conjecture on my part!). There are those in the group who are large and those who are small and it seems that we still vary in the amounts that we take and the levels of success that we have. Can you tell us more about the whole cleanse - how you prepared for it that day and what you did after you drank the mixture and all that?? That might help people to give some more thoughts about what you're doing. And if you do the 24 oz - please let us know how that goes, too. in health,

Guest guest
; You never really stated in this post just why you feel the attempted flushes were failures. However, I weigh in at over 220 lbs in a 6' 4 " frame and can get stones out with just 4 ounces of oil mixed with 4 ounces of grapefruit juice.. 24 ounces of oil is simply way too much oil to take in at one time. Shoot, so is 16 ounces for that matter. It just isn't going to make all that much more of a difference. IF your not getting out stones but are having symptoms of gallbladder or liver problems it can be that you've got a problem with parasites. It may also be that your body isn't producing a substantive amount of bile or you may be dealing with constipation and have stools that are dry and impacted in the colon area. http://www.findarticles.com/cf_dls/m0838/2000_May-June/62141701/p1/article.j html Dale > Hello gallstonees > I've done two cleanse and both were failures.
