They didn't want to stay in the ears, so my husband wound up gluing them in with super-glue. I was thinking of going back and ordering just the hearing aids for other dolls (don't know if they'll do that though, but don't know why not.) Maybe you can do that and then glue the hearing aids in the American Girl doll. My daughter has both the My Twinn and American Girl dolls -- it looks like it should work. >> Hi everyone. I'm new to this list and haven't posted yet, but I am the father of six wonderful children, four of whom are Deaf. My partner is also Deaf and from Deaf family. One of my partners aunts (who is close to a decade younger than my partner) is a brilliantly creative woman. Her boys have hearing aids in bright colors (red and yellow and blue) and she decided to put hearing aids on all of her their dolls. She has since done the same for our sons' and my daughter's dolls. She used colored elmers glue in a thick glob behind the ears and another bright color for the earmolds (all of our kids have WILD swirled earmolds ) and then used white glue for the " tubing " They easily peel off when the kids want different colors or when they change their earmold colors.
