I am just writing to the computer this morning, its about 5am and I have just been woken from a sleep with my heart thumping and me sweating like mad. It isn't the first time this has happened but its just as frightening. I felt on the verge of phoning an ambulance as I thought I was having some kind of heart attack, my heart is thumping and banging in my ears, I am scared but do not want to wake my hubby....its christmas eve morning.

Hope you don't mind me venting but I just needed to speak with someone this morning.

I am so sorry that this has happened to you. Please be sure to have this checked out. It sounds like a panic attack, but it might not be. Christmas is a very stressful time, and I know for me it is something of an emotional rollercoaster because of my children. There was a time for me when I just could not breathe, and my heart was pounding just like yours. In my case, I did have an enlarged heart and severe respiratory problems.

Sue, we hope that you find some answers as to why this has happened to you. We all love you and want you to be happy and healthy....I have always told that my wish is that everyone could be happy.

Well, Sue, that is scary. That happened once to

me, and later I ascertained that it was a panic

attack, but at the time, I had no clue.

It could be something else. Is it still doing it?
