If any of you have experience with one of these (or any other) in terms of educational evaluations, I would greatly appreciate you sharing your opinions ---- Hi Sally - our older son, who is in first grade (he's 7) had the Comprehensive Education Evaluation at e School this past summer (about two months ago). My husband and I were very, very pleased with the entire process. Both my kids are hoh - both are mainstreamed (older is in first grade, younger is in his last year of preschool - he's 5) - I believe both are the only kids in their respective classes with hearing loss. Tom's school recommended the CEE at e and they paid for it (the pricetag was not cheap - I believe in the neighborhood of $2,000). It took two days (I understand during the normal school year, the eval actually lasts three days) and was totally exhausting. They did everything - soup to nuts. Educational, audiological, speech, psychological (what am I missing)? Then when all the testing was complete, we had an exit meeting to go over the results. Then about a month later, we received an incredibly comprehensive report with recommendations for us, the classroom teacher, etc., etc. I thought it was very worthwhile. If you want to email me offline about it, I'd be glad to answer any questions. Good luck! Barbara
