Hi Paz,

I was not a vegetarian, but my meat, and fat intact was too low, and my carb

intact too high, mostly from too much fruit, and dairy. I gradually changed,

increasing fat gradually and decreasing carbs gradually. I did start though with

some egg or meat at every meal for sure, and started on the supplements at first

too. I had to put up with sometimes a minor headache, diarrhea, or I would

cough up stuff, all signs my body was getting rid of toxins. Sometimes more

tired too. The diet will actually be easier as to cooking. Just cook some meat

at a low temperature, and throw in some low carb vegetables if you want. I cook

in a ceramic dish with a glass lid-at 300 until the meat, usually with some fat

added, is nearly done, then throw in the vegetables and cook until they are very

soft. some cook in a crock pot. My cravings gradually got less. If you look up

my posts, you will see a lot of the benefits I experienced, and the links I

posted. The cold does not bother me quite as badly.

Best,

c

I am so tired today. I did not drink all the juices, I ran out of carrots and

was too tired to go buy it, besides I want to try this new diet, so I will go

tomorrow to whole food store and buy some stuff. My son loves meat and while I

was vegetarian, thinking it was better for me, I always had to cook meats for

him, but never the ones he wanted, real fat and red, so he will be thrilled with

this diet. I did go to the fitday page and realized that I eat a lot of carbs

from fruits and vegetables, so I will start cutting back tomorrow. I live in

Miami in an island so we have different hours. This winter has been fantastic,

almost no cold, beach weather. I hate the cold and it makes my pain worst. It is

getting colder now, 65 and low and I can feel the difference. I will keep

reading until the night to be ready tomorrow. Thanks again.
