Guest guest
There is a factor in the " standard " cleanse (and associated methods) which is unclear to me: After you have taken the glasses with Epsom salts, what happens then to people, and when? I had liquid dirrhea as late as around oil time, which disturbed the process. Taking the oil got delayed, and I also had to get up from bed after some time. Has anyone experienced similar problems? What goes in, must come out, but when does it happen to other people? -- Helge

I don't use the ES anymore (usually), but when I did I was affected by it within about an hour at the most. I never knew before reading these recent posts that most people evidently don't feel the effects until the next day. I guess some bodies are just more sensitive to the Epsom Salts than others. Maybe I will experiment and use a lesser amount when I do my next cleanse. If it really does open up the bile ducts (and yes, I will probably take it on faith that they do even though I haven't found any understandable documentation to support that theory) then I'd be willing to use it if I found an amount that didn't cause such diarrhea! I'll give it some thought... in health,
Guest guest
Hi Helge, My husband experienced the same. He started having diarrhea at 9pm and had to go to the bathroom several times after the 10pm oil/grapefruit drink. After that he was able to sleep fine. It didn't affect the results of his cleanses (Dr. 's), as far as I know. He did really well both times. It seems that some people are more sensitive to the epsom, and you probably could take less...I just don't know how much less. Usually, people don't begin having diarrhea until after drinking the 6am epsom mixture.
