TruDee,

Yup! It's a chain grocery store who has just started carrying the

Splenda....Tops Friendly Markets here in NY....Giant in PA....owner being

AHOLD....Guess it pays off to fill out those forms in the gorcery store that

ask if there's something you want them to sell that they aren't

currently...once/week i was filling one of these forms out and indicating i

wanted SPLENDA in the store....imagine my surprise! Maybe now i'd best write

a lil thank you to mgmt! Having worked for the company for years in the

past...its always nice to hear encouraging words...whether it be a simple

thanks or to acknowlege an employees 'going the extra mile'!

Okay...i'm done rambling! lol

Sandi,

I have been gone all day, and am finally getting back to reading my mail!

The ready-cooked bacon I found was Hormel. It was in the produce department, by the tomatoes, (not refrigerated!) and it was $4.99 for 20 slices. I didn't check the weight. The uncooked bacon I usually buy is also 20 slices, for $1.99. Although it was nice for the convenience, I can't justify doing that all the time, especially if my family eats bacon for breakfast every morning.

Hey, Sherry, was this a chain grocery store with the Splenda? Hope so!

Sherry:

I saw that, naturally, it made me fire off a letter to Wegmans asking when

they would start carrying it. :) *crosses fingers*

A. -- the woman who makes Danny hide when he's supposed to be

schmoozing in the grocery store.
