Guest guest
A friend of mine just found out that his brother has just been diagnosed as diabetic. He's not quite sure of the facts, quoted me what his brother had told him. The medication his brother was given is one that makes his pancreas produce more insulin. I forget what they're called, sulpha-something. What I find really odd is that he was told that he had to eat every 2 hours and to make sure to eat something before he went to bed, otherwise he could go dangerously low overnight. I've never heard of anyone being told to eat that often. Is that usual with this type of medication? I'm only familiar with the metformin I was taking until I started cutting carbs. I asked him to try and get me more information but that's all I've got to go on for now. Can someone clue me in? Thanks. Annette
