Yes, I feel very confident that even if we decide not

to take , for our own safety, if the court

offers him to us, I know I did the right thing by

filing the papers and trying to get him his own

attorney. At this point he would be better off in

foster care than with his mother. Now let's see if

the court system will work for his best interests like

they are supposed to.

Have a safe and fun trip to TX! I'll miss you!

The book is called " taking charge of your Fertility "

by Toni Weschler I got mine from amazon.com You can

find them in book stores too. I wish I had got mine

sooner. You will learn so much from it and be so glad

you got it. Charting helps to get PG so much and this

book explains all about it and your body. You just

don't realize how easy our bodies are to understand

until you read it. Hope this helps, Donna

I bet Jordan learned a lot from being at the

hospital! This will be something he won't soon

forget. When I go into labor I want Kenny and the

kids in the delivery room with me. The girls are

looking forward to it but my son(14 Bub) said I'm

gonna pass mom! LOL I just don't want him to feel

like he's left out. I want him to be part of this all

too. He worries so much about me I have a feeling

when I do go into labor he'll be the first in there.

Today is the big day for you! GOOD LUCK! sending baby

dust your way!

People just don't realize that it is way more than just a piece of cake or a

drink of alcohol---when we give into that little whim, it is so hard to just

get back on track. That little piece of cake becomes--oh, that 1 cookie

won't hurt, oh--1 more cookie is ok...Then I get to the point of--well since

I have blown it today--i'll eat what i want tonight and then get back to

healthy eating tomorrow. Then tomorrow comes and i do well for a few hours,

then my mind starts saying well, maybe i will just have that donut and then

eat healthy, then i blow it for the day and tell myself--well i will get

back to healthy eating tomorrow and so on and so on...till that 1 piece of

cake has led me on a unhealthy path for days or months until I get so fed up

with it all that I try again!!! So, for some of us, one piece of cake or 1

drink can lead to such destruction. They just don't get it! If they really

knew what it did to us, they would not tempt us so.

Hi Joanne,

This might be useful if we need a diagnosis to show to a doctor. We know what

triggers our pain and stiffness, too much carbs, stress, poisons from drugs and

environment, temperature changes, not enough nutrition. Going back to our

genetics, we have talked about articles that say we can change our genetic

expressions. I read those articles you sent, and they are useful to me to show

my sister, and others, although one was written by a doc hired for atkins and

company that put out the drink(forgot name) that is used on the diet, to check

these things. I do not consider myself healed, and will have to stay on this

diet, and be even more strict when under stress, and cold weather. At least it

is warmer here, got to 78, but we may still get some frosty weather.

Hi,

Joanne, and I were talking about the fatty acids. I read some on Mercola recent

on fibro, and found this in someones post.

https://www.explorepub.com/samlple-articles/217-essential-fatty-acids-lorenzos-o\

il-and-beyond-.html

We need medium chain fatty acids such as coconut oil and also butter. Newsweek

had an article too, on how our ancestors ate could affect their descendants-it

changes their gene expressions, and how we can further change our gene

expressions by our diet, and supplements. I see a lot of improvement by the

ketogenic diet- my carbs are very low, and take 3 tbs coconut oil, and about 2-3

tbs butter a day, plus meat fat.

C

>

> Hi ,

> As I scrolled on your post I saw some things I would like to ralk on so I am

going to do a 2 window thing & try to speak.

> Fist Diabetes was not rare before WWII (or was it I?). The diagnosis of it

was rare. However, it was not as prevalent as it is today because of our diets

and stress levels. Many of the blood sugar problems take time to develop. It

is the tendency for the condition that is genetic not the actual disease. These

things develop because of our overuse of sugars. Also it is generally triggered

and the main trigger is stress. Stress acts on the body just as sugar does.

The diet for blood sugar problems is really more involved than just a diet. It

requires life changes and a big part of that is clearing & then staying as far

away from stress as possible.

> Dr. Mercola is right. Inflimmation is one of our silent and slow killers.

It causes so many things from immune problems to mental health problems which

are so tied into the rest of our body.

> I saw further in your post that you said to keep eating saturated fats. I

would like to highly suggest that instead you use plant fats such as Olive Oils

and avacados, ect. But you are so correct we must have those essential fats.

> " But I did look it up, to find out how they treated polio in the old days.

And to my surprised, many doctors in the past believed polio was caused (or at

the very minimum exasperated) by eating too much white bread, pasturised milk,

soda drinks, and artificial sweetener " All of these foods are especially bad

for all of us. Even those who think that they are getting away with them need

to use them very sparingly.

Hi Joanne,

About Job, we were assigned to read Job chapters 5-10 this week at our

meetings.I know Bee says not to take clay. but that would be processed clay.I

would love to be able to grow more of my own food. The veggies at the nearby

produce market do not look like the grocery store ones, but still not sure they

are organiic. As I said I am not worried so much about dirt as I am about the

chemicals.

C

>

> Hi

>

> I do not have all the correct words, as yet, but bare with me. I have been

reading the theories that Bee refers to and the Paleo folk (raw meat eaters)

refer to, and these lot that believe in transplanting pathogens and parasites

etc, so that we can re-establish our inner ecology and in doing so restore our

health

>

> These ideas are becoming more and more real and relavent to me, especially

since by ding what these people say I am finding I have better health and my

gut, (the route of my illness) is dramatically improving

>

> I feel I need to understand all this better and I am not making any swift

decisions right now, but some great examples have been given to me

>

> One was the idea of eating dirt/clay. I posted about that the other evening,

but since then I have read more and apparently many paleo folk do this. They say

grow your own veg without any chemicals at all, ensure they are organic and

then eat them with reminents of soil on them. I can see the sense in this

>

> The other example I have been given is that milk, from any animal always

contains the correct bacteria in it to ensure its fermentation to cream, cheese,

butter and so on. Where does this mechanism of bacteria come from if it is not

from within the animal, and since these organisms always ferment to make these

things as daft as this sounds could it not be argued these are there for this

reason. Could it not be argued milk is meant to be fermented into cream, cheese,

butter and so on. It has been shown that once foods, milk and many other foods,

once they are fermented they are much better for us

flicking through I also came across these wee statements, which incidently occur

together in the bible
