To me being a smaller lady...I take max 3 and 1/2 TBS epsom salt for each drink and boy do I ever have to go and go and go and go. And the epsom salt tastes so yucky that I have to suck on a grapefruit wedge after I drink it. So to think of 5 TBS makes me cringe. But now that's just me! If I were you I would start with no more than 3 and 1/2 TBS and see how you do. After all most folks think Barry and I are crazy for doing these " power flushes " that use so much more oil and salt, anyway. s uses mere teaspoons per drink, instead of TBS...but that's them. So you chose. Just my 2 cents. Not knockin' anyone. Just don't want you to get too maxed out at the taste. But then I use twice the oil and grapefruit Barry does.
