Guest guest
Hi Ann-Marie Darn... M & M's really sound good right about now...yum... You say your in a flare... the not being able to swallow correctly is part of the flare. If this is the first time this has happened to you I caution you to eat small bites and not to hurry through eating. I've choked a few times and I have learned how to eat slow and small bites. Your throat muscles are affected by the PM. This is not uncommon. Now a question for you... if you have a sinus infection do your checks hurt or your teeth. I've never had one so I don't know. Hope you have a great weekend and just take it easy. Take care, Vicki
Guest guest
, Connie, Jim and Vicki thanks so much for responding to my " alert " . Believe it or not, I have survived on my sense of humor ... in college my nickname was " Spam " . That was many years ago, the Physics and Math are long forgotten but my slapstick humor has been the glue that has kept our family together. I have laughed with my children during many ambulance exits, and operating room encounters. I just lost the people that weren't my friends, but now I know for sure the ones who have stuck with me throughout the years are my true pals. Today, was just a culmination of emotions that I have suppressed or " laughed at " one too many times. I don't talk about my personal battles with doctors to anyone, much less my silicone related problems. Reality check was in order...Vicki, although I muddled through a computer course a few years ago, I still am clueless..and want to stay that way! I just asked my 14 yr old daughter what url means, and she, knowing my computer illiteracy, replied, " well, it is kind of hard to explain mom " . So, she told me to tell you that I don't have the url for MDA. Can you help?? Spam
Guest guest
Pam, you said one thing regarding the friends you lost. I had what I thought were good friends (25 yrs +). I had been there for them at the drop of a hat, any time of the day or night. When I got sick they all disappeared into doing their own things. I did find that three of my friends whom I knew for about 10 yrs... jumped in to help... some driving over a 100 miles to get here while these other friends lived just a couple of blocks away. I am singel so I live alone. I have a daughter but she and her family live in Australia.... I still had to feed my dogs and horses while I was so sick until my friends stepped in. A true friend is there for you through thick and thin. Don't loose sleep over the friends you lost...cause there not worth it. I walked away from my long time friends and didn't look back. I still talk to them once in a while but it could never be the same. Ok, let me go get the MDA site for you and I got another site that just might help you a little. Be right back.
