Guest guest
Pam, I would detox and get some medical grade aloe vera and stay away from those docs who want to put more chemicals in your body. I had a friend with this and she completely wiped out her urinary problems with medical grade aloe vera. Antibiotics will just make you worse in the long run. Consider the things that can make you better, garlic, oil or oregano, etc. There are many things that do not destroy your system. Lynda At 07:03 AM 9/30/2006, you wrote: >Hi! Guest guest
Hi Pam! Welcome to the group! You're doing the posting right-and, depending on your settings for the group, you will get all the posts either as individual emails, or all of them at one time. Or, you could choose to read the messages in the group only. I like getting the messages as they come in, individually, as it's just easier for me to read. I'd be interested to see what your doctor finds out! I have had a very red face as well, but never connected it with implants. I just had mine removed 4 days ago, and my face is still red and I still have the red rash on my chest. I guess it just takes time for all this crap to go away!pm_morrell <morrellpam@...> wrote: Hi! I had double lumen silicone implants removed 7-06-2006. I was feeling pretty good. My white blood cells are always high and now my urine culture keeps coming back showing blood, which I can't see. Doc wants me to see an uroligist Nov9. I think it is the free silicone that is floating around in my body. Everyone thinks I'm nuts but I know how I feel. I went to Er the other day. My side has been hurting and my cheeks and nose are red. I had a tight grip feeling on the back of my neck, with blurred vision from time to time. I talked the doctor into giving me antibiotics which seem to make me feel better. It has taken the red out of my face. I can't live on antibiotics for the rest of my life. Has anyone had this kind of problem? And what do you do for it??? My left implant had to be put into two different cups. There was nothing left of it. Looked like chicken fat parts in a heavy gel.I really don't know how to communicate with someone using this site. Having alot of other problems, but that will be another time. Pam All-new - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster.
Guest guest
I have those seeing problems too, but I also have brain fog very bad, it's so scary. My stupid doctocs look at me as if I'm nuts. I run a low grade temperature which makes this much worse. I can't think, it' like my brain is swollen. I don't understand myself. It's hard to find a doctor to take implants out. This is my 10th pair in 22 years. He knows how to put them in but, the ladies here in Saline Support say only 3 doctors are safe, Dr Kolb, Dr Feng and Dr Melmed. I tried last year to have doctor Kolb to remove mine while I had good insurance,BCBS with the lady telling me that they would pay. Dr Kolb wanted that in writing. I don't think any insurance ever promises on paper what they will pay for in advance. I still have my implants and very sick. I'm wondering if Medicaid will pay for removal. Guest guest
Dear Neenie, Has insurance paid for any of your implants? I would be surprised if it had, as this is a cosmetic procedure, and cosmetic surgery is usually a non-covered benefit under all medical insurance plans. As far as coverage for removal, the usual response to that request is that it is surgery for complications from a non-covered procedure, and hence not covered! I hate to be pessimistic, but I'm quite sure most, if not all of us, have paid for explantation.
Guest guest
Actually there have been a few women who have gotten insurance coverage for removal, although some had to fight for reimbursement after the implants were removed and analyzed. It's true that most insurance policies do not cover removal, but with the right doctor, the right wording, and the right insurance policy, it can be covered. Mine was, including the mastopexy! I only paid my 20%. Patty Crocker <dwcrn@...> wrote: Dear Neenie,Has insurance paid for any of your implants? Guest guest
Diane, My insurance was going to cover my explant 100%, but I did not like the surgeon they had chosen for me. So I went to Dr. Melmed in Texas, and had to pay the full amount myself. But many insurances will cover it, if you prove that the implants are making you sick.Tricia Trish <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Actually there have been a few women who have gotten insurance coverage for removal, although some had to fight for reimbursement after the implants were removed and analyzed. You don't know how happy it makes me to hear this! Obviously there has been a change since I was going through all this back in 1994.
