, that sounds good.

After the birth, I think you should wait at least 1-2 months, before trying

cleanse.

I thought this experience will be interesting for you.

From: Celia < Celia >

Agnes: I did the cleanse on Monday, January 14th, at 33-1/2 weeks or 7-1/2

months pregnant. I wanted to get it all over with in one day, so I didn't do a

small cleanse and then gradually increase it to a full cleanse. I did the full

" Are you Stoned? " receipe cleanse, just olive oil and lemon juice no salt.

The night before the cleanse I took one capsule of cascara sagrada (herbal

laxative) which really helped. I started my juice fast earlier, at breakfast

the morning of the cleanse. I had a lemon juice/water enema that afternoon. I

would suggest the laxative and enema to all. They really helped to let the

gallstones pass out easier.

That night, I was only able to take 3/4 of the total olive oil and lemon juice.

I didn't get very much sleep all night, only 30 minutes here and there. It

wasn't painless for me. During the middle of the night I had two episodes one

lasting one hour, the other lasting 1/2 hour, that felt just like my other

gallbladder attacks except they were only half as painful. (Could this pain

have been my gallbladder contracting?)

I kept burping olive oil in the morning and let myself throw up when the urge

came at 7:00am. I felt about 50% better after throwing up. I passed gallstones

at 4:00am, 8:00am, 9:45am, and then clear on the next day at 12:30pm. They were

small (2mm), soft, and light green in the beginning, then large (5mm-10mm),

hard, and dark green in the end. I did not get any diarrhea.

The whole experience was very draining. It felt like I had the flu (nausea,

abdominal discomfort) the whole time, plus felt like I was recovering from the

flu for several days afterwards. I was glad I did this while I was still

pregnant. This would have drained me too much to do while nursing a baby.

My OBGYN said dehydration from diarrhea (if I had gotten diarrhea from the

cleanse) would be the only thing that would start me into pre-mature labor, or

if I was full-term, then the cleanse could start me into labor, so to be sure

and drink liquids if the diarrhea came. I would suggest to all pregnant women,

(just my own opinion), to do this cleanse no later than four weeks before due

date to prevent possible labor.

Thank you for your help! It was rewarding and amazing to see and think those

gallstones were really inside me. -Celia

Thanks Agnes! If I do the cleanse I think I will wait awhile longer in case

something goes wrong and I do go into labor. That way the baby will have a

chance of survial if I have it early. I am only 23 almost 24 wks so I think

I should wait if I decide to do it. Why should I wait 1-2 mths after the

baby is born to do the cleanse? Is it because of breastfeeding? Thanks!

Agnes, Taurine is ok to take while pregnant right? My chiropractor said it

was but I was just wondering because I heard they give it for weight loss

to. I dont need to lose weight during pregnancy. Thanks!
