For those interested, we got my husband some Solaray acidolphis, not sure of

the spelling. It was relatively cheap, too. He had almost had pneumonia

after the cold that he caught from me, so he had to go on antibiotics, which

gave him more diarrhea than what he normally has. He has had problems with

diarrhea for years. He had testicular cancer in '91, and had to have a

testicle removed. The doctor at a huge hospital decided that he should have

radiation therapy even no signs of cancer in the stem of the testicle. But

it did something to his digestive system. He had watery black diarrhea most

of the time. He also had reflux problems for a time because of the radiation

treatment. It builds up scar tissue in you, and they ran it from his lower

body, pelvis area, all the way up his chest.

But since I started him on this probiotic and yogurt, his problem has stopped

just after a few days. He can't believe it. It's really amazing to him. I

just thought that I would share this. He still can't believe it.

WOW - that is AWESOME, Susie! What an incredible relief this must be for

him. I'm sorry he's gone through so much. It's great that he has you to be

so supportive and to offer such a GREAT solution! :)

Just wanted to add that I've read aloe vera juice is very healing to the

digestive tract in peope who've undergone chemo or radiation. >>

Hi, Janet:

Aloe vera juice is good, and it's even better mixed with papaya juice. The

two enzymes in it are good for stomachs. He no longer has reflux, just this

other stuff that's better now. Fortunately he didn't have to go through

chemo. Radiation is harsh, though. It's still not as bad as chemo.

It was really strange when he first went for his radiation therapy. The

doctor there said that there was another man in our area that had that same

type of testicular cancer. My husband's was a very rare form. The doctor

said that they were studying our area because two people having the same rare

type of cancer like this, it was just unheard of. My husband jokingly said,

" You're not going to tell me it's in the water, are you? " The doctor said

that's one thing they'd look at.

But he's all better now. This was back in Feb. '90 when he had his surgery.

In March that year he started his radiation therapy. I can't believe time

passes so quickly.

This isn't about gallbladders, but quickly want to ask if they ever did a

study in your area of the water or anything to see what may have caused the

rare cancer? I know we've had incidents here where subdivisions went up on

old landfills. >>

Well, Janet, I've thought about this, but I can't prove it or anything. My

husband grew up in a rural area. It was a very small town, and there was a

cotton field not far from where he lived. They also had wonderful tasting

water where he grew up. It was well water this little town had. So it's

possible that whatever they sprayed this cotton field with, maybe got into

the water supply. That's possible. He's 49 years old and was born in '52.

I guess they probably used dangerous sprays back then. Most the farm areas

around us are cotton fields. We live in cotton country. What isn't a cotton

field is a corn field.

Now, this other guy, I don't know his name but when I worked at the hospital,

I saw that he came in. What is strange is that my husband and him are the

same age. And the doctor did say that the other person grew up around the

same area as my husband. Not in the same town, though. Just the same area.

Susie-

So sorry for your husband's pain and suffering and glad to hear you've been able

to help him. Just wanted to add that I've read aloe vera juice is very healing

in your area of the water or anything to see what may have caused the rare

cancer? I know we've had

incidents here where subdivisions went up on old landfills. Whole neighborhoods

in different cities did " cluster maps " to prove that every other house in

certain areas had a cancer

patient. Landfills and their incinerators have been the most obvious causes of

" clusters " here.

My friend's baby had a rare, aggressive type of brain tumor and found while he

was being treated that our county has an unusually high rate of brain tumors,

especially in children,

compared to other areas of the country.
