Guest guest
Brigite . . . I've heard good things about The Master Cleanser" . . . I'd be concerned that the sugar in the syrup would be a problem, but if it is, there will be plenty of time to adjust for that once the Cleanse is over. Guest guest
Brigite, I have done the Master Cleanse diet for 10 days and never felt better in my life! I trained with Tom Woloshyn in , B.C., taking Vita Flex Therapy (similar to Reflexology - only more stimulating), Color Therapy and Colon Lifting. Ofcourse, I had to see how it worked. It's takes real discipline to carry on, and the first 3 days you feel flu-ish, after that energy plus and I kept up with everything. I would shop for food that I wanted to enjoy at the end of the 10 days, and freeze it. After my cleanse ended, it was my reward! It's a Stanley Burroughs method of cleansing and healing - I've seen and heard marvelous results. The first man he tried this with was a man due for ulcer surgery. He put him on the cleanse and in 5 days his ulcer was gone. A woman with MS in a wheelchair did a 90 day cleanse, and walked again. The lemon juice, cayenne, and maple syrup actually provide alot of nutrition. It's also necessary to drink a natural herbal laxative tea at night and in the morning, to make sure the toxins are coming out of the body consistently. People often go on it together to encourage each other. I also dealt with " comfort food " addiction and went through some massive emotional healing through it, also. It's not for everybody, but I really enjoyed it. I feel the best when I eat a vegetarian diet, similar to Macrobiotic Diet, but living in the middle of Cattle Country, I do have the odd steak and burger! Moderation in life is the key, I believe! If you typed in Tom Woloshyn on the Net, his webpage would describe some healings. He helped a man with Hodgkins Disease - found him in his room almost dead - put him on the Master Cleanse and in a week he was walking around, on his way to " life " again. People with cancer come to see him with 6 months to live and they have walked into their doctor's office 1 year later saying " Hello, bet you thought you'd never see me again! " Study up on it and make your own decision. Sunny > > Has anyone done " The Master Cleanser " lemonade diet? Guest guest
Rogene, Maple Syrup is the only sweetener that doesn't affect the adrenal gland, the same as white sugar, honey, molasses, etc. It also doesn't encourage the growth of yeast. When I was done, my tongue was pink instead of " furry " - wow, that was neat! Love ya, Sunny > > Brigite . . . I've heard good things about The Master Cleanser " . . . It consists of having nothing but fresh lemonade, I assume sweetened with maple syrup (because maple syrup is part of the diet) and cayenne pepper in some form. (It can be in capsule form.) Guest guest
Funny... i was JUST wondering the same thing! I've done the cleanse before, and for the first time in years, my stomach wasn't soooo freaking bloated! However, maple syrup is STILL sugar! I've done research and read different things. Some say it WILL promote yeast over growth, others say it doesn't. I don't know WHO to believe... but i'm awfully scared risking it! I have a serious systemic problem with yeast/fungus. Guest guest
My experience has been that it the cleanse cleared up my yeast overgrowth. My tongue was pink after 10 days, versus white and fuzzy all the time. It's important to change your diet after to maintain good health - Rogene has suggested the Yeast Connection Book - excellent to read for guidance. Guest guest
Whatever form works for you! The intent is to keep the toxins flushing out consistently. Keep close to a bathroom...some days are better than others! lol In the name of love & healing, Sunny > > I was browsing _www.thelemonadediet.com_ (http://www.thelemonadediet.com/) , > and found out that you can take laxitives they sell in capsule form (during > the diet) instead of drinking the tea form laxitives...
