Guest guest
Hi, I posted this on another group, but am re posting it here, as it may be of help here also. Hi group, This was in the news today. It was talking about brown rice syrup, and heavy metals. Also in the other link about soy formulas too having too much heavy metals. I know this planet is so polluted, and sometimes, especially in China, the mines are so close to the farms, and the people there get really sick. The more nutrients a person gets, the better they can detox the metals, especially getting some good saturated fats. I have a problem because I have so many of the old fillings in my mouth. It can be too hard on the body to try to remove them, that it releases too much at once. I did some reading on heavy metals, and detox. I tried chlorella, but seems it contains an analog to B 12, depleting it, maybe that is why it did not help me. I am somewhat hesitant to try clay or diatomaceous earth. This last article mentions NAC as causing problems when used. I used alpha lipoic acid for a while, but I read later, it only can get mercury moving around, not out of our system. I did start eating more meat, and saturated fats,( as the last article mentions), instead of grains and fruits, and I think that helped me more than anything else. I have made jewelry, and work with metals, and plastic, but mostly glass and semi-precious stones, but do not wear a lot of jewelry, and only a few times a week. I am thinking about giving up the hobby. Maybe I can detox it better now. On a different note, I was not breastfeed, and my mom says I was put on a different formula because of a reaction. Not sure if it was soy, which I have heard can cause thyroid and fibroid problems down the road. Some women take soy for female problems-and it causes increase in progesterone, which leads to fibroids/heavy bleeding. Any comments, or experiences appreciated. http://www.boston.com/Boston/dailydose/2012/02/arsenic-hidden-baby-formula-cerea\ l-bars-and-energy-shots/9x23s5vgN1YzHvMFQSWdEK/index.html?p1=Well_MostPop_Emaile\ d5 http://www.nhs.uk/news/2011/04April/Pages/baby-food-arsenic-heavy-metals.aspx http://www.westonaprice.org/environmental-toxins/mad-as-a-hatter C.
