Hi Tina,

The article I posted from the price foundation, said NAC is not recommended. I

am pasting that part here below. Seems I took that for a short time, not long

term. The ketogenic diet and coconut oil will help detox us, and increase

glutathione as well.

Secondly, an unexpectedly dangerous compound to avoid is N-acetylcysteine (NAC),

a high-priced product heavily recommended by alternative medical doctors and

other health practitioners. NAC is a form of cysteine often recommended as a

more powerful form of the much-needed amino acid L-cysteine or in lieu of

glutathione, an antioxidant that is rarely effective in supplement form.66

Although dozens of journal articles support its short-term use as immunity

booster and detoxifier, evidence is mounting of potential long-term harm. The

NAC form of cysteine conceivably can poison vitalethine, a vital component

needed to activate humoral immunity.67-69

Hi, Last few years, it seems like I am of the impression that like Bee says,

more is not better. I was probably doing too much, and trying to force my body

to detox more than it was able. It is hard to really tell, as many vegetables,

vitamins, nutrients, good fats, spices, and more can change our gene

expressions. Like nightshade family vegetables, some can handle them better, and

other people, they cause too many healing reactions. Some finally are able to

handle them better after a while, if starting on them slowly and building up. I

do think taking NAC, alpha lipoic acid, and maybe some others are perhaps going

overboard, and causing more problems than it is helping. It is just something

you have to read up on and decide. Also, our health is not something we can

hurry up the healing, expecting some supplement to heal us in a few months, when

really, it may take years. Hope this helps.

Hi, hope you have success with it. I mentioned in my experiences, I was a bit

afraid of using the diatomceous earth. Bee does not recommend it. So you did

find the food grade, for sure? I still am just using the coconut oil, and high

far, with some well cooked spices as a detox, and am better in a lot of ways.(I

slowly increased the fats, and reduced the carbs). I lost much of my social

anxiety, and have improved mood. I did have some itching around my waist some

that would come and go, and still have diarrhea sometimes.

Best,

site. I read the article as my son has autism and heavy metal issues. It does

mention using food grade Diatomaceous earth for detoxing heavy metals. I

ordered some from Amazon. It is very cheep. It sounds like a better way than

using other chelators.
