yes...i agree - i tried to tell that doc that back in 2003 as Doc Blais' made that very clear when I spoke to him on his findings in my implants.. he said you MUST find a infectious disease doc... one that specializes in "tropical' types of issues as he found all the molds, staph, yeast, strep, etc.... even plantlife on my implants.... told the doc this.. mentioned mycoplasma and yeast, etc.... she said if I had any of these so bad I wouldn't have been able walk into her office that day - I would be dead or hospitalized... i wouldn't be able to function... this was her reply to the Candida & mycos and other things I brought up...

I didn't know where else to turn since Blais' was so adamant about it being an infectious disease doc - said these are the best for blood testing.... good testing for stuff the regular docs would not think of - like mycos, candida, etc... said they knew all about molds and rare dieases and would know the proper tests for this as well... I guess not... maybe in Canada but not in Florida... Let me know if you get something back from him

thanks

oh - this kook was a referral - have to have one w/ my insurance.. there were two on my plan in our area at the time.. her and the guy who wasn't seeing new patients.... their may be more now but I started at my primary... I had to - she believes me... she gave me the referral - insurance referral needed to get into the other doc... sad but true.

Shari . . . Do you think that, if you started with your personal doctor, you could get referred up the "food chain" until you reached an infectious disease doctor? . .. I suspect that one reason you were treated so rudely is that you probably didn't come by referral . . . (As if only a doctor would be qualified to refer you!) Most insurance plans must pay for care outside the network if they can't provide satisfactory care in the network. I certainly would refuse to see the doctor who treated you so rudely though!
