Guest guest
Lora, Welcome to . . . You're among friends who understand what you're going through! . . . We know you can get your life back! . . . It will take time, discipline and patience . . . but you can do it. . . And, when you do, I hope you'll pay your doctors a visit with a big "I told you so!" We've seen hundreds of women who's doctors thought they were a head case! . . . So you're not alone by any means! . . . It's doctors like these who need a shrink! . . . How can they tell a woman that they cannot react to a foregin object place in their body. The object may have been contaminated before it was inserted . . . It may have faulty valves that caused it to become contaminated, or it may have deteriorated until silicone, and all it's associated toxins are being distributed throughout your body - OR you may be sensitized to the materials in used in the implants! Of course you'll have anxiety . . . anyone who's terribly sick and can't understand why is going to be anxious . . . and depressed! . . . Is there any way you can find out what the biopsy on the adrenal tumor said? . . . Is it possible there was silicone in it? . . . There are some doctors who understand implant issues . . . Unfortunately not nearly enough! . . . Getting your implants removed properly is key to getting better! . . . Do you have insurance that may cover explant? We can recommend some outstanding doctors - or we can help you screen doctors in your area to see if one of them will remove your implants properly. For the time being . . . let's take one thing at a time . . . Following a healthy diet - no sugar, no refined grains and no processed food is a good start. . . If you'll read through old messages you'll see a lot of women like you who are getting their lives back. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
I advise you to avoid that psychiatrist. He has a problem. See a good social worker or therapist instead, one who will listen to you and not try to be in control. I am a social worker, and I can tell you I almost died from implants, and a good counselor will not do what this guy did. Guest guest
I can sure relate to that comment. My first neurologist told me to see a psychiatrist. This was even before I knew it was my implants making me sick. Alot of doctors think if they cant come up with an answere then it's us, not them. I went back to my referring physician that day and he couldn't say enough "I'm so sorry's." He did say he has been getting a lot of the same problems every time he referred a patient to this man. It took me a while to not take this man's comment personally. I still don't trust doctors because of him. I am going through the disability thing also right now and I know the outcome. I will be denied because of my age. I am only 33. I am just doing this for my hubby. You are not alone, my dear. We are here for you. rain_crystal1 <rain_crystal1@...> wrote: I went to a neurologist last thursday. He said I needed a good psyciatrist sp? He also said he didn't know why I was on disability. As soon as I got them, I started having problems with my legs after my daily run. I had dr's telling me it was anxiety. Six times I went to the hospital emergency room with a blood pressure at stroke level and they told me it was anxiety. I finally flew to a dr. in Arizona and if I hadn't I would have been long dead by now. I had an adrenal tumor and Cushing's Syndrome. The tumor was on my kidney. It was life threatening. I have lost everything, my home, career, time with my children. The neurologist said I would still be sick if I took them out because any woman who thinks it is the implants has mental issues to start with. I was so upset. It is like all the doctors have a pact to tell everyone this. Can you relate????Lora How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Guest guest
. . . Your age shouldn't be a factor in getting disability. We've seen women in their 20's qualify . . . You'd be more likely to be refused if you were in your mid fifty's or older. It's a shame they have to be so careful because of a few people who abuse the system! The awful thing is that women this young are disabled because of breast implants! . . . Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Boy, oh, boy...these insensitive (un)professionals! Before my implant surgery, I consulted with a Psychiatrist as to whether I should or not...he smuggly sat back in his comfy chair, crossed his arms and said, " Why not? It'll probably make you feel better about yourself " . Now, there's some sound advice (sarcastically spoken) lol Love, Sunny > I went to a neurologist last thursday. Guest guest
Thank you . I got my disability last year. They denied me the first time. I filled out another claim after that, then they sent more. My mother-in-law told me to put on all the paperwork to refer to second claim and don't repeat anything I told them. I did and 3 months later I got my disability. I just thought it might help, it did me. > I went to a neurologist last thursday. He said I needed a good > psyciatrist sp?
