Hi Beverly,

When I first tried Bee's diet, it was not as clear what sea salt to buy. I tried

one from iherb, the salt from Swanson, and the Himalayan one from Saltworks.

They may not have been the best, but still helped me, before I tried the gray

moist sea salt. There were a lot of things I gradually did differently. Also I

was able at first to return supplements to Swanson. Call and ask them. This is

some info

http://www.poisonfluoride.com/pfpc/html/himalaya.html

Best,

C

all the research I had done ( Dr. Mercola's website, etc) was accurate that the

himalayan was the best salt for our bodies. I have a big jug of it I purchased

from Swanson VItamins. I am going to buy the grey salt that suggested

soon. I had no idea the Himalayan had flouride in it. That greatly disturbs me

because I know how toxic flouride is and I no longer purchase " normal "

toothpaste or any chemical laden products at all. Is there any websites that you

could guide me to that have information about the iron and flouride? Also, any

other information on the grey salt? Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Beverly and Joanne, doing a quick search and found this

 http://www.rense.com/general80/salt.htm

If you have more time you can search the net and find more info about the iron

and flouride in the pink salt. I had Naturopath that had it tested and found it

to be high in flouride and iron.

Never regret doing any of this good stuff. Himalayan is not as good as the grey

salt but it is still a pretty good salt and 100 times better than table salt

If you can keep posting here what you will notice, especially with Bee's stuff,

is that we all strive for the best we can afford. And often this can simply just

mean changing brands or a type

Bee's information regarding food and supplements is very very reliable, but if

you are ever uncertain about anything she says then cross examine her ideas with

other reliable sources. Dr Mercola is on somethings reliable, Sally Fallon at

the Weston Price foundation is reliable, Croxton at underground Wellness is

a good source. Natasha McBride is another. And there are others too and

if you stick around here you will find more and more good sites to look at and

as you do a true picture will appear

Bee is fussy, very very fussy about the foods and supplements she recommends and

occasionally she does make errors and when she does she admits them and explains

why, but honestly Beverly I have been around and around this Internet trying to

find out more and more regarding all this and the truth is I always end up back

at bees sit and I am constantly saying she is right

She has many great sources, some of which are mega expensive and she reads every

good source and then tells us what the books say etc and references them. There

is no way I could have studies all the stuff she has studies, i would not have

been able to afford it and I would not have had a clue what books to buy, she

must have spent a lot of money and time researching all this

But anyway, all this stuff just takes time to get your head around. It is very

hard to comprehend that what Bee is saying is true, but Beverly it is and what I

have seen on other forums is that when people are following similar diets as

they modify them, even without know it, in the direction of Bees diet, they see

further and further improvement

When i get more time i will explain better what I mean by all this but for now

just want to say thanks for sticking around and giving us a chance here. I am

certain you will not regret it, I never have

Love joanne

Thank you for the articles and information. I was using the sea salt from the

grocery store that was next to the normal table salt. Then I changed to the

Himalayan crystal salt. I have read everything that all of you ladies have

provided and I am going to order the grey salt. I know that it is important for

all of my family members health so although I do not like to toss out the

himalayan salt (because I do not like being wasteful) I even more do not want to

knowingly add toxins to all of our bodies! I have made a lot of changes in my

eating and cut out dairy. I need to completely eliminate gluten and sugar next.

I have family arriving from out of state so I do not have much time on-line now

but I would love to be more active on thsi group and get my health going in a

more positive direction. I have made a lot of progress this year with the

changes I have made but I some day hope to be pain free and have some energy.

Merry Christmas!

Hi Beverly

Good for you for making changes. It is smart to do one thing at a time I find to

have a better chance of not feeling like you are going without. Sugar for me the

hardest. Merry Christmas!

Hi Beverly,

It is good to gradually make changes. People use the Himalayan salt for crafts,

and some sell it on ebay, if you want to consider that.

That's funny...my dog loves the coconut oil. I had some on my hands and she went

crazy for it. Since I eat it now, I think she can smell it on me. She's been my

best friend lately!
