Guest guest
Hello ruth Did your doctor check your thyroid? I know swimming is great if you can do it three times a week that is wonderful. You dont have to do a rigorous swim to get a good work out. For me it just is an easy way to work my muscles. I could not this summer cause I still need shoulder surgery in both shoulders. I hope next summer to be able to swim again. I hope you are able to get enough protein from your diet. Beans for some people are hard to digest. Do you do the Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar? All 10 of my blood test results came back 'within normal range.' My dr said it did not mean that my body did not have sensitivities (vs allergies) and such. We talked about my weight issue since I had gained 6 lbs since my last visit 3 weeks ago. I have no idea why either. I have been keeping a food list. It is not from me eating too much. Soooo, He told me to go on a total vegan diet. I can not eat past 5:30 (must be finished by then). My last meal is to be only vegetables (no starchy ones). I cannot have any oil with the meal. I must exercise daily (except for my Sabbath). He wants me to swim a minimum of 3 days a week. Also, no gluten. Because of my fibro and lupus issues, he suggested this exercise DVD called 'chair aerobics.' Gave me a print out to find. He also suggested a cookbook 'Seven Steps for Healthy Living' (I think). I will have to look again. Steve's dr just gave him similar info so I guess we will be really changing things around here. My son is working on his cooking honors for youth group. He has to create a total vegetarian menu and prepare the meals. LOL. He will have to take in account our new diet changes. It will be fun to have him cook for a week. maryruth
Guest guest
, My thyroid has been check several times. That is what I thought was wrong also. But apparently, it too is also within normal parameters. My new dr has not check it though. As regarding protein, plants have a good deal of protein and it is used totally by the body. Animal protein is not utilized as well. I have a chart on the percentages of certain plants and how much protein they have. Very interesting. It is the meat industry who wants people to feel they can not get enough protein without meat. And yes, I do the vinegar thing although it makes me gag. maryruth On Wed, Dec 14, 2011 at 12:46 PM, Giannini wrote: > ** > > > Hello ruth > Did your doctor check your thyroid? >

Guest guest
Thank you I will try it I have a torn AC and RT cuff in my left which is odd because I am right handed and torn RT cuff on my right shoulder. I used to play softball and tennis and I know I hurt my right shoulder almost years ago playing tennis. But at the time everyone was telling me not to have surgery. I just stopped playing tennis and would sometimes play my husband because he is a beginner and I knew it would not get competitive I think when my husband was working in another state and I started to have to do more physical stuff and then I moved some furniture with my dad that it messed up my left side. My shoulder doctor wont operate until my head stuff is addressed so he wont kill me during surgery. I would prefer not to have surgery at all but Physical Therapy and Massage made it so much worse Thank you for the tip Ciao- Ange ________________________________ To: " fibromyalgiacured " <fibromyalgiacured > Sent: Wed, December 14, 2011 2:00:50 PM Subject: Re: dr visit yesterday I dont know if this of any use to you, but my husbands brother has frozen shoulder and he uses this http://www.penetrex.com/ My husband uses it for his back and his pain is very much relieved with it. Guest guest
Thanks , Good to hear of your progress. You will continue to improve. I have been on Bee's diet not quite 3 years. I was not a vegetarian before that, but my meat level and fat level was not high at all. Now on very low carb, moderate meat/egg protein, and high saturated fat. I started having then improvements in My overactive bladder gone overall pain level, especially my legs much less brain fog less lost 15 pounds, now on low side of normal social anxiety much less skin improvements overall feeling good instead of sick more sustained energy no more low blood sugar symptoms-do not get hungry or weak between meals sugar craving much less improved mood my hair started getting darker instead of grayer My moles started drying up and shrinking Saved a lot of money because a lot less medication was necessary Saved money on groceries, and take less supplements( I take only the recommended ones) I do not have to pay any nutrition specialist, and my regular doc only a couple of times in last 3 years. over 20 years ago, used to eat more meat, but still not much fat. I knew I had low blood sugar, but did not know enough from reading to know I had to go very low carb. going gluten free helped, but not enough. Also know now I could not digest well vegetables without the good fats and the protein. I have to cook them well. The antibiotics interfered with my bacteria, hurting my digestion as well. It seems really sick people cannot get omega 3s from plants too well. We do not need the bacteria to digest the meat. My digestion is improving, but still, if I increase my carbs, I get bladder problems, and many of my old problems come back. Even if I could digest grains, they are too high in starch. Staying in ketosis is important to healing. These articles are about the problems getting omega 3 from plants. http://www.articlesbase.com/nutrition-articles/fish-oils-vs-flaxseed-oil-which-i\ s-the-healthier-oil-for-you-1300886.html http://www.psycheducation.org/depression/meds/omega3pathway.htm http://www.flaxseedoil.ws/vsfishoil.php http://rosacea-research.org/wiki/index.php?title=Flaxseed_Oil http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20050802/news_lz1c02qanda.html http://www.wholefoodscoop.org/common/adam/DisplayMonograph.asp?storeID=7CE9AED42\ 91A4249833F2893B797892C & DocID=33_000304 C. wrote: > > > > > Hi ruth, you gotta check out Bee's website. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1.php > I'm a 57 yrold cervical cancer survivor.
