Guest guest
Hello! I'm in the process of getting things going for an open RNY - most like a surgery date around October of this year. I understand that I will need to take protein supplements, what other supplements will I need? Do most people take these in liquid or chewable form? I know some of the vitamins/pills I've taken are pretty good size and even now I have a hard time getting them all down - I can only imagine it would be impossible after surgery. I'm trying to get a better idea of how I will have to handle my daily nutritional needs after surgery and everything I will need to take, in addition to my food. Thanks in advance! Guest guest
I second this question! My surgery is on the 18th and I thought I was getting prepared but then I was reading on www.vitalady.com all of the other supplements. What, how much, and when should we be taking the vitamin and mineral supplements? > Hello! > I'm in the process of getting things going for an open RNY - most like a > surgery date around October of this year. Guest guest
They don't operate on our esophagus, so the pills will be the same as they are now. Correct ones will dissolve in the pouch, or should............... They usually do not hang up in the stoma. UNLESS it has healed too tightly. Some chew, some swallow. It's a matter of personal preference. I'm a swallower.
