That's not a strange question at all. In fact, each one of us has undoubtedly asked the same question at some point. People have different methods, but I will tell you what I do. This might sound strange to you at first. I have a colander that I keep in the bathroom closet. When I do a gallbladder cleanse I put the colander under the toilet seat and it catches what is eliminated. Remember that in the preparation for the cleanse the bowels have been pretty much emptied out, so what's coming out is pretty much the stuff being flushed out from the gallbladder/liver. So it isn't as gross as it might sound. I haven't actually counted every stone. I estimate. Some people, I guess, have actually taken the time to count each one? I also have two sticks - they are actually from those long matchsticks that people use for fireplaces - and I use those to poke around to see the density of the stones. I also use them like chopsticks to hold the bigger stones against a ruler to measure them. If the idea of catching them in a colander isn't appealing, remember that the cholesterol type stones will float to the top of the toilet bowl anyway, so you can observe them from there if that is preferable. I hope this helps. in health,
