Guest guest
Today my son went to get his MRI to rule out Chiari. For the new people, he has some depression and anxiety, along with hearing loss, and his psychiatrist wanted to make sure that Chiari isn't the problem. I requested copies of the films as we left, I didn't want to wait for the report. And, as we all know, sometimes the report will say the MRI is normal, even though it isn't. From what I can see, there isn't any herniation at all, although there are only two good shots of the cerebellar tonsils. Either way, they look like they are where they are supposed to be (whew!) Hopefully the rest of his brain is fine, I will have to wait for the report on that. My son was just glad to get confirmation that he has a brain! Also, thanks to everyone who responded to my posting of last week, when I wasn't feeling well and was having alot of head and neck pain. Someone (you know who you are) suggested to me that it was probably just the stress of the holidays, you know, overdoing it. I think she was right, because I am feeling alot better. I finally broke down and took a Flexeril and went to bed. The next morning I felt alot better, although very tired from the med. I guess I really am not superwoman after all. Take care, Sheila
