Guest guest
Okay, now don't get too excited. Last night I took 600 mg of guaifenesin, and this morning I took another 600. Before I tell you of my results, I wanted to share a link I found to an article by a man who has had fibromyalgia for many years and did a lot of research on guaifenesin, basically to investigate the claims and myths. Here is the article any case any of you want to read it: http://web.mit.edu/london/www/guai.html Anyway, it is really long, but fascinating, as it goes into detail about the many theories of the causes of fibromyalgia and has a lot of links to medical research articles. He explains why he thinks guai works for some people. He believes that one of the effects of guai is as a muscle relaxant. It comes from the guaiac tree, which has been used for more than 100 years to treat rheumatism and other conditions. Last night I decided to try it.This morning I woke up for the first time in two years with no stiffness and almost no pain. Could I be experiencing a placebo affect? Maybe. I'm going to keep taking it and Iet you all know what happens, but for now I feel very encouraged, because for me the pain is my most difficult symptom.
