Guest guest
Terri, You keep hanging in there with both the SSI application and the breast issue. I'm not saying an abnormal mammogram isn't something to worry about, but don't pull out the real fear until they actually do a biopsy, get the results, and say the "c" word. (I can't tell you how many women I know who have had biopsies done, all negative for cancer. Benign lumps are not uncommon.) I think scientifically speaking, I've read that MOST lumps are benign. And even if it weren't ---we have so many women on this forum who have survived breast cancer!!! Don't devote your energy to worrying about it right now. Stress will work against your body's recovery from everything else and just flare your other issues up even worse. Give it time, and find out all the facts first. Then make a plan from there. If it's something horrible, deal with it when the time comes. You will have a group of gals behind you here. We may all be scattered across the country, but we all pray under the same stars together. Best of luck. I'm sure everyone's praying for you, and so am I! Keep on keepin' on!!! Brig PS: Make sure you relay to SSI exactly what your life is like on a daily basis, and take the time to express that you can hardly function doing necessary tasks to survive ---much less work. I understood when you were saying that you'd much rather be out making thousands per month than living off hundreds with SSI. I think anyone in their right mind would much rather be doing that and having a life than being so low that you're forced onto SSI. Hopefully they'll understand this time!!! Keep trying!!! Guest guest
Thanks Brigite, The mammogram was negative, I had to have the doctor show me the report I don't quite trust Dr.s yet. Thank you for all your comforting words. It is amazing when we are all hurting that we can find the words to calm someone else's fears. Thank you Terri P HawaiiKissofSadness@... wrote: Terri, You keep hanging in there with both the SSI application and the breast issue.
