Guest guest
Hi Joanne, Thanks for the reminder about the supplements. I knew I needed to add the mag, calcium and C in the evening, too (and usually forgot - so this motivates me to try harder), but I didn't read the list close enough to realize that I should also be adding my heaping T. of nutritional yeast then, too (in addition to taking it in the morning). Ideally, I'll try to spread the C out to 4x a day - don't know if it's going to happen :-( What I'm currently working on right now is the water fast once a week. Last Friday I did it, except that I drank my broth and took my supplements in the morning and then I had my sauerkraut and oil before I went to bed - so, a partial fast. The biggest problem was the amount of activity and the feelings of weakness (I lift weights and do interval workouts on M/W/F). So, I'm trying one today (Thursday) because I'm out of the house a lot today and don't have a lot of time to eat anyway. I already messed up this morning because I forgot and had my broth (but nothing else). So, I'm going to drink only water until Friday morning's broth, right? I wasn't going to take supplements today - or should I? I'm also trying to figure out how to get everyone in the house doing bees diet. I think they all need it (everyone's been on gaps since December and we spent 2 months on intro for Lent). Healing has been occurring (dyslexia, dyspraxia, asthma), but there's much too much craving for fruit/honey/baked goods/cheese/peanut butter (I limit fruit to 2 servings a day, baked goods to once a week and less than a t. of honey in dripped yogurt once a day, 1-2 oz. cheese and less than 1 t. of peanut butter a day). So, my biggest concern is weight loss. 3 of my six kids are very underweight, 2 are perfect weight and 1 could lose 10 pounds. Dh has 2 pounds to lose to get to his target weight (he's already lost 38 pounds), so I know he won't be motivated to do this, either. I've lost 29 pounds so far and would like to lose another 11. Is there a way to be in ketosis and maintain (or gain) weight? Or should they not go into ketosis? I know candida is an issue (not by testing, just cravings) - so trying to figure out how to do this with them. Thanks! +AMDG+ Jean On Tue, Jun 19, 2012 at 4:51 PM, Joanne Ford wrote: > ** > > > Jean > > This sounds ideal !!!! > > Like you I take almost all my supplements in the morning to get this out > of the way but a few do need to be taken througout the day > > The vitamin C works better if the dose is devided.
