Guest guest
Hello Tina yes kids and pets can destroy the house. My dining room table has imprints from my daughters home work and my big cat 26 pounds he is a Maine coon and he likes to chew on the edge of our coffee table. I have just learned to let it go. Of course if I see the cat chewing I move him. so sorry to hear about your son and his bladder. Yes foods can impact our bladder and bowels- when I was in my early twenties I had issues with my bladder and was finally diagnosed with interstitial cystitis and changed my diet for 2 years and I still stay away from lemon, limes and oranges. I will once in awhile have Meyer lemons which we grow which are the less acidic. Also avocados were on the list to stay away from. I do eat the now. Here is a link http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001508/ Bowel issues for me started after I had gall bladder surgery. After years they found I had C diff http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/c-difficile/DS00736 and I felt better but still had issues. So I went to a homepathic doctor who tested me for food allergies and sensitivities. And she found almost 20 things. One was wheat so I just do gluten free, others were beans, squash, cumin, cows milk, yeast, brewers yeast, sunflower. I dont know why regular doctors dont do this test maybe cause most insurances wont pay for it. But they were paying for a bunch of invasive tests that came up negative. You might want to get tested to see if helps you. Also many women after child birth have issues with their bladder.
