Guest guest
Is apple cider vinegar okay with anti-candida diet? I'd like to try it. I'd also like to make a salad dressing with it, since I am getting bored with oil and lemon. I am confused about vinegars. I am also confused about cheese. A book I have said cheese is okay in moderation, homemade yogurt fermented 24 hours ( to remove all lactose) is okay. But the rockwellnutrition.com post said no dairy of any kind. I just made a great dressing with homemade yogurt and garlic and dill. I'm bummed to give it up, since it actually makes kale taste good! I also made a tapioca pudding with stevia that was passable. At least it FELT like pudding in my mouth. Do we have a definitive word on apple cider vinegar, and over-fermented yogurt, and dairy? I have been eating a tiny bit of cheese every few days, just for calories and fat. ly -- I lose weight on just meat and veggies, and I don't need to lose any weight! What little breast action I have after surgery....well....I'd like to keep it! Dawn
Guest guest
Dawn, I think the apple cider vinegar is fine on the diet. I wouldn't use a lot of it though. I found that even though I want to stay away from yeasty type foods that real plain yogurt is very good for me as it builds up the good bacteria in your body. I do eat cheese but I try and stick with goat cheese. Now I didn't follow The Yeast Connection Diet I've been following The Maker's Diet with no problems. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Dawn . . . Any kind of naturally fermented food . . . like your homemade yogurt, will help restore the beneficial organisms to your body and will be great on an anti-fungal diet. . . Home made sauerkraut (I've posted the recipe) is outstanding too! - Delicious, even raw! Organic apple cider vinegar, in moderation, should be fine too. Guest guest
Oops. I forgot about peanuts. No No's Penni Re: Re: ~/Rogene -- turning into yeast diet question -- cider vinegar okay? I eat nuts to keep my fat intake up and keep me from losing weight. Canyou add nuts? I can't think of any reason they should be avoided on ananti-candida diet?
