Guest guest
dawn that is a great idea - there is a list of doctors on the group site but most I think are recommended ps's.... I think it might be a great idea for us to recommend other types of docs then put them in easy to find groups as I for one have been going to doc after doc for years and if I have to look at one more face that doubts me or laughs, etc I may smack it.... sad but true.... I have been to hundreds of docs.. found several out of that many that believe there may be a connection.. there is one here that for sure believes without a doubt in implant illness but I think he is close to retirement... my Rheummy - Dr. Vasey - many have heard of him I am sure as there are many articles posted by him on the site and he wrote a book on the subject as well... I have a few copies... he knows everything there is to know as far as I can tell abut implant illness, what causes it, all the medical crapola.... everything but how to treat it.... sad but says your body pretty much has to purge itself... says this is why there is bladder issues in women w/ implant illness... body toxin dispersing... anyways.. My explanting PS believed after he saw my implants that there was a connection and my pain doc believes as well... as for the other I see... no-so-much. i have yet, as mentioned in earlier posts, to find a infectious disease doc, or anyone to treat or test for mycos or candida, etc., nor does my neuro believe it... of course I may seek a second opinion on him... only been there once since my seizures and epilepsy diagnosis. He didn't really say much - just didn't really have time to talk. He may believe it - was in a hurry that day. sad as I was a new patient and I am sure he got a pretty penny for that visit... HMO for you... anyways.. if anyone has a specialist that totally believes and has tried to help treat you and/or test for implant types of illness maybe you can see if the docs care if you send their info first then if ok w/ them, send it to the group then we can start organizing a list by specialist name... of course I never go to the site.. always get my messages on my email so maybe this has already been done lately so I will go there first and make sure before we go thru all this..... it has been a while since I have been there. I will look and check it out... if it isn't on there by specialist group and anyone else wants it organized like this I would be happy to start organizing them if you want to get w/ you docs and make sure it is ok w/ them.. I think this is important to do.... anyways -I will check it out and get back shari
Guest guest
Shari Dawn, Great idea!!! It will save women tons on time and embarrasement. Not having to go through what Shari did. I have had probably 30 different doctors and hospitals in total since 1997. I have encountered alot of the same denials but not to the extreme that Shari did. That should never happen to anyone especially when we are sooo sick. This could be the start of something really big.
