Dear Norma.. well actually that does make me feel a little better in

perspective because your necklace was both sentimental and valuable.. so i

that makes my loss not quite so terrible.. sigh.. could have been something

worse i suppose.. thanks for your kindness

.........

no matter the $$$$ value......

I feel bad that you lost something " you " valued.......

Hopefully, these rings will turn up.... you never know.....

Oh, Norma, how sickening just to think of it. I lost a big ole herringbone

gold necklace once, and never found it. It was a gift too and the giver was

none too happy I lost it.

But the saddest of all for me was a garnet ring my father gave me for my

21st birthday.

I have been searching around ancestry for a relative who has a photo of gr

Italian grandmother.I only met her once, when I was like 2 and I have no memory

of her.Just learned from my 2nd cousin that she lost touch with her family and

they never knew what happened to her.Her Familt lived in Alabama. She and my

grandfather lived in Detroit. Now,I am wondering how she ended up in Detroit and

why,she had no more to do with her own family?LOts of estrangments in my family

background. No wonder,I don`t know any of them.Plus, they are scattered to the

winds.I also want to know, where in Italy they came from.Have not learned that

yet.
